At Soft thorn, we trusted Nick’s Electrical to install and inspect our entire electrical system, and we couldn’t be happier. We got estimates from several companies, but Nick’s Electrical was by far the most efficient and straightforward to work with. Forget these big electrical companies and choose Nick’s. I made multiple phone calls to several companies in Orlando and got multiple quotes to fix a very small issue that needed attention per my insurance company and were required to use a licensed electrician. Other companies came to my house, found other "issues", told me I needed a new breaker (which I don’t) and quoted me thousands of dollars. The only thing I really needed addressed were blanks to cover exposed areas in my breaker, a ten minute job. I called and was immediately put on the phone with the owner of the company, Nick, who quickly eased my fears and gave me a fair price. He was able to even help me with other electrical issues I needed and he did so in an honest and prompt manner. I 100% recommend this company for your electrical issues as they saved me time, money and a bunch of stress.

Received a quick response in scheduling an estimate for installation of an additional electrical outlet in a bedroom. They were able to do the installation within a week from getting the estimate. Overall the job was done well, except my drywall installer had to make some adjustments to the outlet as it was slightly indented and not flush with the wall. (that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5). However, it works great for the portable A/C unit we needed the separate outlet for. I would definitely use Nick's Electrical again and refer them to anyone needing electrical work done.

I have no idea how this company has a 5 star rating based on they could not even follow through on a simple estimate. On Tuesday, I submitted a request for service. They gave me an estimate window of 2pm-4pm on Wednesday. They never showed up. No one bothered to give me advanced warning of being late or not showing up. I called them, and a lady was fumbling her words and making a ton of excuses. She said she would call me back in "3 minutes." She never called me back, but she did send an email to reschedule. Based on no follow through of something basic as a phone call, I went against my gut instinct and decided to give them one more chance. They gave me a one hour window of 2pm-3pm on Thursday. They never showed up. No one bothered to give me advanced warning of being late or not showing up. I called them, and a lady was fumbling her words and making a ton of excuses. The apologies sounded insincere as if it was something she was repeating all day long to people. She said she could reschedule me for the following Tuesday, but offered no ownership of the issue and no guarantee that the 3rd time would be any different. If they didn't want the job, then they should have told me. I wouldn't have wasted 2 days off and I wouldn't have written this bad review.

I used Nick’s Electrical Service for their part of installing Tankless water heater. It was a pleasure having them in my home. Arrived on time, had the tools they needed and cleaned up afterwards. The office staff is very helpful and pleasant. When I need an electrician this is who I’m calling!

Nick’s team did an awesome job installing 2 new fans including adding the necessary support boxes, and installing 2 new GFI outlets on my garage. From the start, the team has been a pleasure to work with, they provided me with the necessary info I needed to understand what was required, they provided an itemized estimate, and did a great job scheduling and being on time. The installation team kept me inform the entire time. They also wore protective shoe coverings, added protective coverings on the floor and walls, and cleaned up perfectly after the install was completed. I highly recommend Nick’s team for any electrical work!
