I’ll start with what was good. They were timely and did get our oven hood working. What I wasn’t happy with was how they left the house an absolute mess when they had to cut 6 holes in my ceiling to rewire the hood to the electrical panel. They vacuumed up the bulk of the piles of insulation but still left my house a mess. I wasn’t expecting perfection but at least with a professional company I would expect them to clean up after themselves. Luckily our home warranty will send someone to patch the holes but it is going to be obvious with having to patch 6 holes. They pulled a wood strip off the A/C wall area and didn’t put it back, they scratched my cabinets in multiple places which will require paint retouches and just left the pieces of the ceiling they cut out laying around everywhere. These pictures are after I started cleaning up after them. Overall very disappointed.

I was contracted Advanced when I called my American Home Shield warranty company about a fridge problem. They were at my house within a few days, had the parts within a week, and got it repaired around 2 weeks after I put in the initial request to AHS. Carlos was the technician both times and he was outstanding. Courteous, helpful, informative: everything you'd want in someone fixing your stuff. And the cost of my warranty plus the charge for the call was significantly lower than I'd have paid out of pocket (for anyone thinking about a home warranty).

I would urge great caution when dealing with this company. I have had two separate, negative experiences with them. The first time, they were assigned through my home warranty to repair a dishwasher. After their visit, the dishwasher worked for only two days. They returned and claimed there was nothing wrong with it, even though it was still not working properly. I ended up reaching my repair limit with the home warranty company without the issue ever being fixed. It felt as if they were making multiple visits without a real solution just to collect money. My second experience was even worse. A technician came to fix my HVAC system and correctly identified a problem with the zoning board. However, he then claimed my system was low on refrigerant and charged me $550 for five pounds, a cost not covered by my home warranty. The technician didn't explain why this was necessary or show me any pressure readings. The system stopped working within 30 minutes of him leaving. When I called, they told me the zoning board was the issue and that it would cost $3,500 to fix, a cost that was not covered by my warranty. I then hired an independent technician, who discovered the system had shut down due to an excessive amount of refrigerant added by the first company. He corrected the pressure and replaced the zoning board, all for a total of $900. It appears this company either lacks the necessary expertise or is taking advantage of unsuspecting customers.

I have been using Advanced for at least 8 years and am very happy with them. I have never had any negative interactions with them. They are very professional and always do a great job! Their service and work is 2nd to none! The people answering the phone are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful also!

The worst experience ever. I told American Home Shield for months how incompetent Advanced Appliance was and they forced me to use them. I endured property damage as well and was stuck paying them over $8200. I feel robbed and no one cares about my experience. I went the entire summer without a working air conditioner because of the company and AHS lack of empathy. I had a hole in my ceiling as well as water literally coming out of my smoke detector because they didn't promptly remove the old equipment. The owner straight wired my unit and then told me to use my breaker to cut my unit off and on. You better run from this company! The water in the bucket is from the water literally coming out of my smoke detector. Let me also include a total of 6 technicians came out from April to July and they lied and said i needed a new unit just so they could get more money out of me. They talk down to women. They come in YOUR house and won't even speak. Terrible terrible company. Never again.
