Overall, very happy with the install and the quality of finished products used. Had an issue during install, but the owner worked with me to get it resolved to my satisfaction. Otherwise , we had to reschedule the initial install date, and they were able to reschedule us quickly, once we got a firm install date for the pool itself. We had multiple quotes, felt they were the best price to value. Definitely would recommend.

We were referred to Eugene Boos of Preferred Electrical by Wayne Seifert of Happy Home Exteriors when a fallen tree did a significant amount of damage to our home. From the initial call to their office, throughout our entire encounter with them, every person we spoke with was polite, professional, and considerate. Gene personally responded to and evaluated our situation quickly, then worked with our insurance adjuster and the town's inspector to ensure our power was restored as quickly as possible. The electricians who came to complete the work (Wes and Cam) were both wonderful - hardworking, knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful of our property. Heather from their office stayed on top of communications and paperwork for us, keeping everything moving forward. It seems like a true family business, as Gene's wife even personally stopped by after the work was finished with a lovely card and cute little plant for us to encourage us through the challenging circumstances we found ourselves in from the tree. A few days later, when another company was here for a different aspect of our repairs, the gentleman commented about how impressed he was with our electrical work and wanted their business card. We were happy to make the referral and will not hesitate to use Preferred Electrical in the future. Many thanks to Gene and the entire Boos family!!!

Preferred Electric and crew did a fantastic job on our residential property. The most rewarding experience was, although we never met the owners of this business, the guys sent to do the work spoke volumes as to the professionalism, humility and patience something his crew displayed. The bottom line is that the good example set by those who are in charge from the top trickles down to the workers and and that is what this company is about. Great work! Very professional. The house was built in 1910 and last electrical upgrade was 1976! Went from a system that was tapped out to a bigger better service. Eugene the owner was fantastic to deal with and Tyler and crew did a great job replacing the service. They also were able to accommodate a last minute request by me that I greatly appreciated! Highly recommend this company. Will be calling them soon for additional work!

The Das Haus, EinHaus, und Der Stall Museum (Historic Society of North German Settlements of WNY) had been searching, almost in vein, for an electrician to do even an estimate on a 182 year-old house and log cabin in Bergholz, NY (Wheatfield). After several no-shows and no call backs from a list of nearly 20 names, Preferred Electric came by. He went to work almost right away after a quick quote and was all done in two hours! We needed new light fixtures in a historic style, old 60 year old wires cut away and new boxes installed plus a few switches and plug-ins (including replacing a very old push-button light switch!) He placed cloths down and so the mess was minimum. Although I can't remember his name right now, as this was in March of 2022, I finally found the pictures I took. (See attached, before and after pics). Most situations in the house were understandably tricky and almost every spot required its own solution, which he overcame every time, including a very potentially dangerous location he solved. The result and final bill was surprisingly low considering the scope of the work on a building as special as this was is. We, as a Board, happily paid it. We, and I, highly recommend him and the company to ANY historical society and specialized location in particular for their care, attention and fair pricing in this uncertain day and age. We had them come in to assist us with a panel and service upgrade to our upper and lower property in the city of Buffalo. From beginning to end everybody was outstanding, professional and extremely knowledgeable and great at communication. The work was terrific. Would recommend to anyone!

Yes, I would definitely hire this company again. The person was so nice. Took FaceTime to look over the circuits lucky because the person that put the circuit the first time did it all wrong and could’ve caused the fire has it and he fixed all that the right way I am so grateful for This company that only know what would happen. Yes, I would recommend them.
