Scheduled in May for a move to Richmond, VA the first weekend in August. Joe was very responsive to email inquiries and returned a thorough quote to me the day he met with me. The only snafu day of move was a 30-minute delay of start time, but I was called ahead of time with that update. Joseph and Marcus, movers, could not have been nicer! Marcus wrapped furniture thoroughly and Joseph packed the truck carefully. Unpacking and moving everything into the apartment took some maneuvering through hallways and steps, but there were no complaints at all. They had a long drive back to Raleigh after all that!

I have moved at least six times during my life and this was the worst move that I have experienced. The guys were the very nicest, friendliest that I have worked with. They were gung ho and happy to move anything. Sadly, they were also the sloppiest. The truck was not packed properly so items shifted and were damaged. Boxes were unloaded so quickly that they just stuck them anywhere completely ignoring the labels carefully put on every box. I now have super heavy book boxes in my upstairs that need to go downstairs on the opposite side of the house. Being older, I now have to pay to hire someone to move those boxes for me. Sigh. After the move, I reached out to the owner three times and never got a response. That is really disappointing as this was a personal referral. I only hired them due to this reference and am sad I didn't go with the more established Two Men and a Truck or Chapel Hill Moving.

Joe and his team did a great job moving us! They were efficient, had all the necessary tools (and more), and an all-around huge asset to our recent move. We will definitely recommend them to friends!

Red Brick moving is the best moving company around! They handled my last move and (now that I have finally finished unpacking) I can say NOTHING was broken in my move because the movers were so careful and yet efficient. The thing that stood out to me was the frequent and clear communication with the owner and the staff. I will hire them for my next move.

Red Brick did amazing with my small move! They were quick and clear with communication from my initial inquiry through my completed move. I was contacted directly to provide details of my moving needs and provided with an estimate for my items to be moved plus the use of their truck. After paying an initial deposit, my move was scheduled for a time that worked best for me. Red Brick called and messaged to confirm my move (or for notification of any changes) the day before. On the day of, they also called and messaged before their arrival. Two movers and a truck showed up on time as promised. The movers took care to review the move plan with me and then they got to work. The entire process was quick and smooth! They also took great care with my items, some of which were delicate, that I didn't feel the need to hover over their every action (as I've had to do with movers in the past). They even suggested some storing tips for my items and offered some supplies so my things were stored safely. All that was left to do was pay my balance, which was super easy using a POS app on one of their mobile devices! My move was finished in less time than we estimated and I never once worried that something would get damaged. I would 100% use Red Brick again for my future moving needs!

Use Red Brick if you want an honest and reliable mover. We used them for our local move in June and it was the best moving experience we've had.
