I really like your store. It’s clean and you have pretty much anything and everything for a home. I didn’t come for groceries, but I should have brought my list. Not too noisy. And well stocked. Only wish you were closer to my house.

This is my go-to home improvement store in the area. I usually wander around and find what I need on my own, which is totally fine, but I had to leave a review after my visit tonight. Mary in the lighting department asked what I needed and clearly knew her stuff! She immediately recognized the bulbs I had, found me the newer and better replacements, and just like that, I was done. Mary is truly an asset to this store!

The staff is always so nice! I wish I had her name but there's one lady who knows SO much about indoor plants, she's helped me out a few times with her knowledge. Also, you can't go wrong with the 11% cash back! If you save your recipets(you can send your recipets together within a year), it truly adds up! Thanks for being such an awesome store with awesome, helpful, employees.

We got excellent service from Eli who showed us the options for what we were shopping for and how to find them online or ship to store. He was knowledgeable and so nice!

08/20/2025 I bought an air conditioner at this location, I asked the cashier if I could buy some kind of insurance for the air conditioner, she couldn't answer me, she called another person whose name I could see on the badge CONNIE, she told me that if the insurance option didn't appear when scanning the product I couldn't buy the insurance, I asked her another question about the return policy which she quickly answered , why would you return it, and even if you wanted to return it we won't accept it because the season is already over, I was confused with her answer, very unprofessional on her part, I don't know if she was the manager but very bad customer service, be careful with CONNIE 08/20/2025 compre un aire condicionado en esta locacion , le pregunte a la cajera hacerca si podia comprar algun tipo de aseguransa para el aire condisionado la cual no me pudo contestar , llamo a otra persona cual pude mirar su nombre en el gafet CONNIE ella me dijo que si no salia la opcion de aseguransa al escanear el producto no podia comprar la aseguransa , le hize otra pregunta hacerca de la polisa de devolver la cual rapido contesto porque lo devolverias, y aunque quisieras regresarlo no lo vamos aceptar porque la temporada ya esta terminada , me quede confundido con su respuesta , muy poco profecional de su parte , no se si fue ella la manager pero muy mal costumer service , cuidado con CONNIE

On one trip to get mulch and some hardware. After searching for the location of the mulch I found a service team member (they were in short supply the day I was there) and was told the stock tag was not accessible and then printed a form for me to take to the register. As this is a new store for me, I had to figure out how to get to where it was stored (not well marked) and where to best park (the traffic aisle barriers made it tough to figure out the best aisle to park in for the closest access). I discovered that one could not park next to the product. I had to carry bags one-by-one to my car behind barriers. I also bought lumber and brackets for shelving. At check out the clerk did not enter all the items being purchased and I had to talk him through the fact that he had "missed" some items and get him to add them to my purchase. He did not know how to accomplish this, so he had to get assistance from another service team member - but this took a while because that service team member was too busy chatting with other customers in the same line behind me. I find the University Ave. location to have better accessibility to much and better staffed with skilled associates.

I love the store, but the people inside treat customers like trash. I brought my handicapped mother this morning and the he/she THING they had working the service desk stood in our way vacuuming the tiny gated entrance and making us WAIT several minutes until I finally said "UM CAN WE COME IN?". ~On the way out, I had purchased not much just a rug and a halloween decoration and she stopped me, demanded myr reciept and forced me to let her search my bags, a bag and receipt check has NEVER happened in 2 decades of shopping here. I hate you Menards staff! Every single time I shop with you I'm followed around the store like a criminal. Home depot and Fleet farm do not treat me this way, so the next time I need things, you will be last on my list to visit!
