Nathaniel M. went above and beyond in helping me with my battery yesterday. My car requires registering a battery when installing a new one. Nathaniel was super helpful when I called and when I went to the store, helping to make sure I got the right battery and that it was installed and registered correctly. It saved me over $200 from what the dealership quoted me for the same equipment and procedure. I’m super grateful!!!

I was driving our 2006 Toyota Sienna with my son to pick up a couch for my wife this evening, about 25 miles south of our home in Kaysville, UT, to Salt Lake City. Our van, as amazing as it's, was purchased the same year my son started driving, and it was rising in temperature. I wanted to get some fluid to help bring down the temperature while driving back home. In Kaysville, we typically visit the Green competitor, O'Riley's, as they have been much more helpful, cleaner as a store, and overall great to work with, vs your store in Kaysville, UT. In the past, your local store in Kaysville was never helpful, slow, or busy, and most of the time just hanging out with the manager from years ago, I don't remember his name, but don't believe he's there anymore. There is a female manager there today who has been more helpful to us, but overall not to the level that your brand should be. My son asked me why it took me over 10 minutes to buy the one item I said would take a minute or two to get, and I'll share why this was longer, as I did with him. When I entered your store on State Street in Salt Lake City tonight, I was greeted by Angel, a store associate who directed me to the antifreeze, then later came over to help me select the correct color and fluid. While standing in that area and looking around, I was genuinely impressed with how good the store looked, with evenly, fully faced, and well-stocked products appearing all around. I walked down several other aisles and saw the same thing over and over, then approached the counter where the same associate, Angel, assisted me check out. I shared with him my genuine impression of his store and expressed some of my overall feelings, as stated above. I asked if he was the manager, and he said he was not, but that another, Angel, was. The manager, Angel, overheard my comments and came to the front of the store to visit and thank me for stopping by and sharing my input, while also apologizing for the experience I've had with the Kaysville store. I believe Angel S was the manager and Angel A was the associate, or at least I hope I got this correct. I typically will leave some sort - Star Reviews on Google but with a simple comment, nothing like this, but I wanted to share my experience with your corporate, region, market, store, and your associates/employees tonight and hope this helps not only both Angel's but the kindness, professionalism, and the fantastic service they engaged with me on with my simple $20 sale, but did much more than that with the pride of ownership in the store's attention to detail. I mean it, I've never seen an Auto Zone or any other auto parts retail store look this clean, stocked, and sharp, with staff to match. I promise to return, with my 19-year-old son, to your store in Kaysville on my next visit, thanks to both Angels tonight. It's kind of appropriate to have me pivot my shopping going forward. Funny, but true, they are the reason we'll be back. I will follow up with you via a receipt from the Kaysville location in the future, and I will remain honest and open, as I have been here. When I'm in Salt Lake in the future, near the large Costco at 300 W and 2100 S, and I'm in need of an item or just want to stop by to say hi, I'll do so to express my gratitude. I promise that. Thank you again, and I hope you're able to recognize your manager for his exceptional leadership. First, as I'm sure there are other manager levels at this store, tonight, he was your leader, not just a manager to me, along with Angel, your associate/employee.
