I've purchased several boats over the past 30 years, and I have never had a good buying experience, until just a few weeks ago! I walked into Goldsmiths boat shop and I was immediately greeted by Craig & Glenn Goldsmith. They showed me around and really took their time to answer all of my questions and educated me on several different fishing boats. I was extremely impressed with their knowledge & honesty. Any questions that they couldn't immediately answer were answered by their mechanic & product specialist (I think his name was Mike). He explained all the benefits & drawbacks, enhancements & safety features. Everyone at Goldsmiths made me feel very comfortable & important. They all genuinely cared about my fishing needs & wants. The day I picked up my boat they spent over an hour showing me how everything worked. I felt like I was part of their family. They also gave me a very good deal compared to other boat dealers in the area. I am beyond impressed! I will be sending everyone I know to Goldsmiths Boat Shop! Buying our second boat through Goldsmiths has been a great experience in every way. The team at Goldsmiths found us the perfect Scout 23 foot boat and had it fully prepared and in the water in perfect time for the summer. We have a great dock slip and Glenn and Craig are always available to answer questions or lend a hand or wave us off from the docks. I can’t imagine there is a better boating facility anywhere. Great experience purchasing a new Yamaha outboard as the auxiliary for my Cape Dory sailboat. Glenn and staff were especially attentive, inspite of my needs requiring a less costly and low horsepower engine. In over 60 years of boating (inclusive of 20 years as a professional mariner), I'd count this among my best marine related buying experiences.

We had the good fortune of meeting Craig Goldsmith when we had sold our prior boat and were just about ready to give up finding a new one. Luckily he had a Scout two year old boat that was ideal for us. We took delivery a month later of a spotless fully loaded boat and have been having a wonderful time on it since then. We were able to tow a skier (even though Scout hasn't been able to ship a tow bar) thanks to Glenn teaching us how to rig ski ropes safely. My son-in-law had a blast skiing around Southold Bay last weekend and we loved seeing him so excited and happy. We can't wait to tow our grandkids around on inflatables as soon as they are old enough. Tomorrow the weather forecast is excellent so we will boating to Salt for lunch. Pure pleasure. Goldsmiths is the most knowledgeable, trustworthy, professional and friendly boat dealer we've met and we highly, highly, highly recommend them.
