Builder here in AZ. 2 projects in a row with disasterous results. they keep repeatedly pushing out my repair dates 6 weeks into the future because they always show up with defective parts. Managers won't call me back. No accountability. No sense of urgency. Waiting 4 months on broken glass warranty coverage plus other issues. Other project had 3 massive windows defective right from the factory. 3 month delay and no expenses compensated.

A soggy mess. We had 21 "premium" Milgard windows installed just over a year ago. We recently discovered that at least 12 of them are defective and leaking. Our contractor placed a warranty service call almost a month ago and Milgard can’t seem to work us in for yet another month "or longer." I have tried to reach out to corporate and Milgard’s parent company (Miter Brands) to no avail. In the meantime, with each storm that comes through, we are left with more drywall and potential mold damage. You would think 12 leaky windows would be a priority. Customer service and quality are clearly not Milgard’s or Miter’s first priorities.

Terrible quality, took over a year and 5 installs in order for our back door to fit decent. Panels were warped, and they told the installer to try and make it work many times. Wasted over a year of our time in our door is still not perfect.. for $8k you can do much better. We won’t ever be using them again. Go to Lowe’s.

Happy in Mesa, Az. Thanks for the great customer service and service tech Ed. It took 23 years for the locking mechanism to fail (started to self lock), requested warranty service, about a week later Ed called running early... 30 minutes later problem solved and off he goes, freeing up the rest of my morning. Exceptional service Thank you.

Where to begin. This company's products are horrible, and already failing for us. We purchased new windows and doors for our entire house, massive project and expense a couple months ago, and see nothing but defects. We have to have a window redone already a couple months after install, it is already bowing and failing, glass separated from the frame. Frames bent. Their screens are terrible and bent, don't even fit the windows. We have two windows in which you can see daylight through the frame. Also, the windows that move do not sit flush in the frame mounts, but rock easily back and forth. We don't have much faith in the energy savings with such lack of fit in the frame. Rough cuts on most of the windows, jagged edges. In retrospect, we would never have purchased Milgard given the quality of their windows.

I have never dealt with a company as inept as Milgard. After more than a year of waiting, we are still without the screens for our windows. They have scheduled multiple deliveries, but fail to even call when the product doesn't show up. On the rare occasions when techs do arrive, they can't seem to get the screens that have actually arrived onto the windows. The frustration didn’t stop there. They gave us the runaround about corrosion on our door frames until the warranty expired, and now we’re left with the costly burden of having to pay for replacements. I would highly recommend avoiding Milgard at all costs. Their lack of customer service, poor communication, and failure to stand by their products have been nothing short of disappointing. I will never use them again and will advise others to look elsewhere for windows and doors.

I am a contractor and I placed a 8ft glass sliding door. One of the doors was wrong and had the wrong door handle. I reached out to Milgard and they only told to replace the handle when it has the wrong mechanism. I need someone to help me with this
