A Chemist from the Water Resource Recovery Facility came into our science classroom to educate our students about what the WRRF does, how to test water, and opportunities for youth in Grand Rapids to work for the City and in the field of Chemistry. It was powerful and impactful for our students - a real treat ! Thank you WRRF for providing educational outreach to our local schools !
Great place to work. Management is fair. I left due to third shift and went back to my former department.
Very friendly staff. Educational tours are available for the public. Impressive facility is well designed to handle both normal and extreme operating conditions. The transfer partnership with the city of Wyoming is a wonderful example of interurban partnership, and the new biodigesters are a welcome addition to the system!
This thing stinks from over a mile away. A water treatment plant shouldn't smell from the parking lot. Something is seriously wrong here. Wish we could post a picture of the smell.
Educational tour but people need to keep their sewer water cleaner so it doesn't smell as bad.
I'll give five stars when they begin using their solid waste as a bio fuel to power our city.
Do NOT try the free samples.
