Villa Lucia

I’ve been here over a year now and while it can always be chaotic and risky living near students/the stadium, Villa Lucia has done a great job at creating a calm space. The staff are really what I find stand out here. Everyone in both the leasing office and maintenance team are so kind and helpful, especially the Property Manager Thais!! She really tries to help with issues whenever she can and communicates clearly with residents regarding updates. She never provides the bare minimum. The maintenance team James and Hudson have been fantastic responding to my requests quickly and communicating throughout the process as well. They’re both incredibly friendly and helpful whenever any I have issues or bump into them around the complex.

The best college housing I could ask for, especially for the price. The staff is timely and courteous, there are several bus lines close by (including an FSU one right outside the front), and the place is clean and well-served. The only thing I couldn't determine ahead of time was the maintenance, but let me fill you in, James and Hudson have been wonderful: they're quick, effective, pleasurable to talk to, and will accept the milkshakes my roommate made them and give him the joys of acting like a housewife. I've been nothing but pleased overall.

Living at Villa Lucia has been an absolute pleasure for my daughter and her boyfriend! The apartments are clean and well kept, perfect for college students. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently. The staff communicates with tenants frequently, and has hosted a few fun events for the apartment community.

Villa Lucia is an amazing to live at for a college student. The staff is amazing they help me by making possible for me to move in earlier than my set time due to personal reasons. Truly amazing people.

Avoid This Place – Not Worth the Money Been here a year and moving out — can’t wait. From day 1: wrong key, broken cabinet, bedroom door wouldn’t close, washer/dryer broken. Maintenance? Slow, inconsistent, or useless. Bathroom design is awkward. Lights are harsh and poorly placed — I’m tall and kept bumping into them. Bathroom fan/light combo is loud and annoying. Neighborhood isn’t clean. Constant daytime noise makes WFH miserable. Utility bills were $100–$150 even when I wasn’t living there — plus forced insurance and random fees like $200 for cleaning when I left the unit spotless. Worst part? HVAC. Bedroom has poor airflow. Got sick 7+ times. Asked for a humidifier — took weeks, then broke, and no one fixed it. Too expensive for what you get. Poor maintenance, health risks, and nonstop stress. Not recommended.

I’ve called this place home for the past 4 years, and I’m so thankful for the peace and comfort it’s given me. It’s been more than just an apartment—it’s been a safe, welcoming space where I’ve built so many memories. I’ve never had a single complaint, and I’ll always be grateful to have had such a wonderful place to come back to every day.

I’ve been here for two almost 3 years now and never had an issue with Villa Lucia, Management is super quick to handle a problem and maintenance always handles my issues same day and James always makes sure my unit is in top shape whenever I see him around
