I used to go to Taxbox Refund on Slauson Avenue for years, and I can confidently say that my experience was consistently positive. The staff was always friendly and knowledgeable, making the often-stressful tax process feel much easier. They were attentive to my needs and took the time to ensure I understood every step of my tax filing. The office was clean and organized, which added to the overall welcoming atmosphere. I appreciated their professionalism and dedication to getting me the best refund possible. Although I no longer use their services, I have nothing but good memories and would recommend them to anyone looking for reliable tax assistance in Los Angeles. If I can leave no start I would! Don’t fall for it ! These people did my husband and I taxes this year and boy did they screw us over. We got 2 notice from the IRS that there wore errors made and now we owe them taxes!! We have been trying to get ahold of the company from all the phone numbers we know of and nothing.."mailbox full" we email.. no response back! There service fees are so high that they don’t even do their job right!

I had a terrible experience with TaxBox Refund Los Angeles regarding my state tax refund. I reached out to their support team to ask when I would be receiving my refund, and not only did they have no clue where my money was, but the communication was almost non-existent. What made it worse was the owner, Chuck, reading my messages and not even bothering to respond or offer a solution. Completely unprofessional and frustrating—if you value your time and money, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

I haven’t received my refund yet but that doesn't matter we know it takes time. Its the fact that this is my first time ever going through "TaxBox" and they lied about how much I was getting back. Literally had me E-Sign and then refiled the documents, Im assuming almost overnight. Also not only did they quote me back a unrealistic amount , they charge a 2000$ fee to lie to your face .. it's safe to say I don't expect much in the form of a refund whenever it pops up. This business isn't accredited either, so I will make sure in the future to NEVER do business again with these weirdos… Update: Funny enough , I have the forms that were first signed and then a copy of the refund you guys altered. The refund isnt missing it just takes time but just being greedy and ripping people off and then lying about it? It’s crazy guys haven't been sued yet! To reply with a sarcastic tone when most of the reviews say the same thing says alot about this company.

They kept my state refund which was $4,500 and when I look for support to see what’s going on with my money every ones goes ghost "i have payed 1000 for IRS PROTECTION and when it comes to seeking management they completely go ghost. Once they have their money is like clients never exist. I’ve reached out since a month ago about my state refund and they don’t care since they collect fees from the federal, I can see that the ceo is in his club scene era and doesn’t prioritize clients who technically pay for his entertainment, he probably doesn’t have kids to support. Although majority of people don’t have the luxury as he does therefor we look forward to our refund" 4-18-25 I called multiple times to see what happened to my state refund after 2 months I’ve received info only to recibe information about a change of my money I needed to recibe $4947 now the lady moya said it will only be 518$ like Hu this company a fraud any one that’s going thru this let’s get together and sue this people

I filed with them twice and received a notice from irs now I have a big bill and they are not here to help like they said they would I did amendment tax and found out they did not file my w2s and scammed the life out of me please don't go here
