We’d love to be able to rave about the service and rate Westshore higher but alas, we’re unable to do so based on opportunities to improve communication and follow up across email, telephone and text. We scheduled a service check with Westshore, received a timely appointment and window of 11am-2 pm. Upon receipt of emailed (paid invoice) we noticed the invoice had incorrect service address. We promptly requested updated service address and written communication verifying change. No email confirmation ever received. Husband contacted the office via telephone to verify updated address. On appointed date we waited well into; and just past our schedule window to assure we were on the schedule. Call went into voice mail, left message to call with status update. We were then advised earlier appointment went overlong but technician would be in his way to our place next (shortly). We expressed understanding that these delays can happen but given we were now an hour past our appointment window a call to update customers would have been appreciated. Another hour past (now two hours past appointment window) and no technician, no call. We again called the office for status update and we were told "you’re next", due to delay at prior appointment. Given we had a prior commitment and we were now, well 2+ hours past the appointment window we canceled the appointment and requested a refund. Erin advised we should have received a text "day before" to confirm appointment and another text when "technician on the way", we did not receive a text "day prior" nor when "tech on the way". Erin apologized and promptly issued refund and verbal apology (thus the two stars). Clearly processes are broken and impacting office and tech staff abilities to be successful. While we appreciate the apology and prompt refund no other "service recovery" efforts were made. Hopefully Westshore can address promptly so they experience no further communication issues.
