Hytech recently completed a free home energy audit on my home. Cool learning experience to see how my home is losing energy. The young man was friendly, knowledgeable, and very respectful of my home. Recommend all homeowners get a audit on their home with Hytech.

Hytech Solar did our install at the end of January. 5 months now and we couldn’t be happier with the project. From start to finish Hytech was professional, courteous and communicative. Especially Leigh, so easy working with her. Besides the hardware on your roof the system comes with a fantastic online service which enables you to monitor your system. Once you sign up you can view usage and solar collection data!! A very powerful tool. Hopefully more people go solar and if you do i would highly recommend Hytech.

Was having customer service issues and then Sandra stepped in and took care of everything. She is a rockstar, Hytech is lucky to have her. Highly recommend them based upon Sandra‘s high quality customer service, she actually cared.

Not a good company to work with. We got our solar panels in January. They went over with us where the panels would go and we signed off on the plan. They came and installed them. When they were complete, they put the electrical conduit in the front of our home instead of going to the back side of the home where you wouldn't be able to see it from the street. When we called our sales person Sean, he came right away and said they did it this way because it was easier for them. There were other options to make it look nicer like going behind the chimney. He also said he does not know why they don't put the electrical conduit on the plans to go over. He "supposedly" called the owner while he was here to advise him and he said no problem, they will come and fix it. In the meantime, they kept calling us to sign off on the completion of the work. We did not feel comfortable but kept being called by our Rep and the service department. We were also told that if we did not sign off, they can turn the power off. We signed off and called to schedule the service to come and correct the electrical conduit and they said that we would have to pay for the labor $350. When we called our rep again he said tell he would pay for it. When we called back to advise, they said our rep no longer works there and that we would have to pay. And being told now that it's $180 an hour and they don't know how long they would need. We feel we should not have to pay for something that should of been done correctly to our liking or at least go over with the owner prior to installing. It's esthetically unpleasing.

Working with HyTech Home was a great experience. They replaced my old AC units with new and efficient heat pumps. They made the whole process from system evaluation, rebates, financing to installation very easy. The installation crew was very professional. They were always on time, clean, and knowledgeable. They did a great job with the installation and always answered any questions I had. I highly recommend this company.

David Neiger was very professional and helpful. Anthony and John did a very good job and were very personable.

Edit 7/3/24: Anthony was quick to follow up with me post-project implementation and took it upon himself to amend the discrepancies noted. I appreciate the thorough care and follow up that his team offered to complete the job to a satisfactory standard we can both agree with. The team was also kind enough to eat the cost of several materials that were within the scope of the project. Thanks again to Anthony and team! Worked with Hytech through PSEG's Home Energy Audit (HEA). Rick was friendly and courteous and performed a sufficiently thorough HEA. Subsequently worked with David from sales and contracted Hytech for an air sealing and insulation job. Generally I wouldn't recommend any company with pushy sales tactics that give you the "have to sign today" spiel/pitch but I reluctantly agreed to it this time. Fast forward to project day, Anthony and Michael showed up early followed by two non-English speaking employees (no issue with that - understandably everyone's looking to reduce overhead costs). The former two personalities were a pleasure to work with however I would say overall my experience with Hytech was average by the end of it. Soured by execution, I was left with nail pops and dings/scratches on my walls and staircase. A series of miscommunication and mis documentation lead to services that I paid for but were not rendered within the scope of the project. Strangely enough, the contractors also took my supply of fiberglass insulation batts that were in the attic and created a "barrier" (see pictures) without telling me. The pictures that I was shown by sales of what the final project would look like would have been plywood to the height of the insulation in place of this strange makeshift fiberglass batt-barrier, let alone with my own supplies.
