We chose On Point Solar in April 2025 because their sales team was knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. We even recognized that some of the negative reviews online might have been due to factors outside their control. Unfortunately, our experience highlights serious issues that are 100% within their control, and it’s important for future customers to know. While installation happened quickly, the system has never worked. It failed multiple City of Phoenix inspections, and despite repeated promises, no technician ever came out to fix the issues or be present during re-inspections to address them. Now, six months later, we’ve been told the battery is not functioning, yet no one from On Point has been on-site for weeks and there’s been zero proactive communication or clear timeline for repair. We’ve been paying for a nonoperational system for half a year, while receiving little to no transparency, accountability, or urgency from On Point’s operations team. The follow-through, customer service, and project management after installation have been extremely poor. We wanted this to be a great experience, and we gave On Point every opportunity to make it right. Sadly, the outcome has been months of frustration and a system that still doesn’t work. Buyers should proceed with extreme caution... the issues in our experience were entirely preventable and within On Point’s control.

I had an awesome experience with On Point Solar. My sales rep, Jo, was above and beyond professional throughout my experience. From day-1, he was willing to work with my schedule to meet me in person and address all of the questions I had to put me at ease and wasn’t afraid to reach out to his leadership if he didn’t have the answer. Very humble, very knowledgeable. He says what he means and he means what he says. Very fast process from initial applications to install, and full communication throughout the process. I would definitely recommend On Point Solar, and my sales rep Jo for those of you who are hesitant to take the plunge. Thank you!

They installed solar panels on my property on 12/27/2022, and I have been paying almost two hundred dollars a month, yet my solar panels are not even connected to the meter. When they installed my solar panels, they never asked for or submitted permits to SRP before installation. We later discovered that I had a violation code, and they would not be able to connect them. They rushed the sale and installed panels in less than a week just to make a sale. Now I have to keep paying for something that I'm not using. They will not respond or call, and the financing company has been trying to reach them without success. Do not go with this company; read other reviews. SRP & Financial company trying to get this resolved.

We added panels and battery to our existing solar. I first met with Blake Farmer who is the sales rep. He was very knowledgeable and worked with what we were waiting. We had other solar sales which after research knew they were not truthful. Found that Blake was truthful and if he didn’t know the answer to couple of questions we had he called the owner and put him on speaker so we could ask him and get our questions answered. Very thorough. The only issue we had was communication in the beginning which did improve over time. During installation we had Adrian’s Team which consisted of 5 guys who showed up in 105 degree heat to work all day in stall our solar. They answers all our questions while they working and they were working hard and again it was HOT ! They left the site clean and the entire project looks amazing. All the guys were very polite and professional. This is the first Solar Company that I would even recommend. Thank you to Adrian and his crew and Blake for all the hard work for this process to get completed. 5 stars is not enough. I give

ANYONE BUT ON-POINT! We went with On-point several years ago, and have had nothing but issues! Originally, we had our system for almost 2 years, and paying a monthly payment when we discovered that the system wasn't operation AND the company was not monitoring activity... 2 years worth of payments and no solar power usage. The system frequently will "stop communicating" which means there is no solar usage. On-point will charge a "roll fee" of $149 dollars to come out and fix a system issue, that is clearly the faulty of the installer, service or equipment used as it continues to be a problem. Customer service is a bad as the equipment, and the solar service... I can't caution or urge you enough, DO NOT USE ON-POINT Solar. It is not worth the chance you MAY have a better outcome!

BEWARE! DO NOT USE ON-POINT SOLAR! 0 stars if possible! We used On-point solar several years ago, and have not had a positive outcome with their system, or their service from the very beginning! Whenever you call for assistance no one answers the phone, some phone numbers have been disconnected, and eventually you are referred to a text messaging service. Whenever you text you get a canned response and a referral to a company that does not and cannot offer the same warranty work because they are not the original installer, all they can offer are warranties by the manufacturer. Whenever you ask to speak to a manager they are always in meetings... whenever you request a technician they say it is first come first serve, and cannot give you available dates if you don't make that weeks schedule, and to try and call again next week. It's incredible... service is awful.

I have been with On Point Solar for about 3 years now. Everything started out good, they were prompt to respond to service requests, etc. That has all changed for the worse. The customer service phone number tells you to text your message in, you don't even talk to a person anymore. I put in a service request for a bad panel that is not making power over 3 months ago. The only time I hear anything about it is if I initiate contact. They continually tell me that my case has been elevated to priority and that they will keep in touch, but they never do. They claim to be short staffed and working on their tech schedule, but 3 months is more than enough time to figure it out. Update: 2 more weeks of zero contact. I have a feeling On Point may be on the verge of going out of business, no other reason I can think of for their complete lack of customer service. Time to take my business somewhere else.
