I removed my previous review cause I like to believe companies deserve benefit of doubt. This company is flat awful. If I could give -5 stars I would. I purchased 11kwh solar system from them and was lead to believe it was an American system. The EG4 chinese connected system is total garbage. The system has been plagued with problems since they installed. They first did awful job of wiring the system. They eventually remedied it partly. The 3rd array work 1/20th of the time with same problems but they just blow me off telling me the inverter they sold me is out of spec basically. They lacked respect for property mounted solar panels to patio cover aimlessly leaving screws exposed. I could write a whole article about how poor and unsafe EG4 is but focusing just on North Texas Solar. If you purchase from them and have the same experience after reading this review.......I told you so. Learn from my mistake avoid this company like they are the plague. Very poor quality and the worst god awful customer support. They'll tell you whatever they think will make the sale and then avoid you or talk to you like your stupid when Engineering is what you do for a living. If you read nothing else. Avoid North Texas Solar at all cost and know that I had nothing but an awful experience and found Jake to be one of the most deceitful persons I have had the unfortunate experience of coming across.

North Texas Solar is truly an original Texas solar company and they have excellent customer care. They answered all of my questions, didn't sell me on anything but rather educated me on how solar works and what would be best for my home. I haven't paid a utility bill in months and my solar + battery backup system is working perfectly! I was sold on their lifetime warranty and their equipment warranties which are best in class from everything I researched. I actually just had them install an EV charging station in my house and it is great because it syncs directly into my photovoltaic system. There's nothing like owning your power, especially when energy rates are through the roof. Highly recommend giving this team of experts a call if you are considering going solar. They've been helping Texans since 2015 and they are not some nationwide solar company. True Texans serving their community with the best service. Thank you North Texas Solar! Would highly recommend North Texas Solar for all of your solar needs. Very informative and super easy to work with. Can’t say enough about this company and their management!

Jake and is team care about the customer and THEIR solar project. All about customer service. Their system is clean and neat, not like other systems where design is ugly or wires hanging everywhere. Not fast talking like others nor do the Gand you off once the agreement is reached. Jake and his team with you start to finish.

Unfortunately our experience with savings has not been at all what we were told. Our loan payment is $117 a month and we get an average savings off our electricity bill of $50 a month if we’re lucky. Knowing what we know now we would’ve never done this deal.

We have had a superlative experience with North Texas Solar. Jake and Zack are incomparably good to work with, very patient and responsive, and super professional. The crews were polite and accommodating as well, allowing me to watch every step of the process and making the entire process delightful. The system is incredible so far and promises to be even better with time. Above all, it is great to work with a local company with a great reputation. Don’t hesitate to invest your "energy" with these folks – they are top notch!
