I can't say enough good things about my experience with National Energy Installers! I recently bought a brand new home and it came with 12 solar panels already installed. I loved the fact that the home already had solar, but I quickly realized that it wasn't enough to cover my electric bill. I reached out to NEI, and they came to the rescue! They were able to install 32 more solar panels and made it look like it was part of my existing system. The installation was smooth and efficient, and I was so impressed with the professional service I received. Not only does my new system look fantastic, but it has now completely eliminated my electric bills. I highly recommend NEI to anyone considering solar solutions. Thank you for the amazing work! I’ll be posting a few photos to show off the beautiful setup!
From start to finish, everything went smoothly. The installers were respectful of my time and property, and they took care of all the permits and paperwork. I was impressed with how well they explained the process, and the panels blend perfectly with the roof. It’s been two months, and the system is already saving me a noticeable amount each month. This is one of the best home investments I’ve made, especially with energy costs rising..
"I highly recommend Michael Murphy and his team for their outstanding work on our industrial building in Brea, California. They handled a challenging installation with professionalism, dedication, and excellent follow-through. Their commitment to quality truly stands out.
Our non-profit community center wanted to reduce expenses and use the savings to enhance services for our residents. NEI showed us how we could accomplish that with solar and made the whole process effortless. They designed a custom solar system that fit our needs perfectly and used a virtual metering program to ensure we maximized savings across multiple meters. NEI also helped us get approved for a loan, secured a 40% direct pay rebate, and made sure the entire project didn’t cost us a penny out of pocket. The installation team was top-notch and worked around our schedule to avoid disrupting any planned activities. Now, we’re saving every month, reducing our carbon footprint, and putting those savings back into the community. In just a few years when the loan is paid off, we’ll be saving over fifty thousand dollars a year. We couldn’t be happier with the results!
Do NOT do business with National Energy Installers. They do no honor their contract! This review is strictly about their bad business practices, and the failure of the owners to honor their contracts. Update: 4/10/2025 I just called and spoke with Myra, the receptionist. I got the same general information as before. She has forwarded my request to Chris Deligiannis for the 3rd time. I asked her to confirm who she sent the requests to, and she told me she sent the requests to Chris each time. Now I know who has been dropping the ball. I’m going to file. BBB complaint and see if he’ll respond, since basic customer service is not his strength. Original: Like many, I hustled to get my solar application in before NEM 3 took effect. I had just signed a contract with another company, when my brother called me to check out this company. After a day of negotiating , I decided to go with NEI because they offered a rebate to reimburse the monthly payment on my loan for 24 months, roughly $4200. That was a huge selling point for me, because of my budget. It took 11 months from application to install because I had some permit issues to resolve, and poor communication and follow up with the company on the status of my project. My solar was finally installed and turned on in March 2024. The rebate was to begin 3 months after I began making my loan payments. I contacted the company after 6 months to inquire about the rebate payment, and I was only able to speak with their receptionist. I was told someone would contact me. I reached out again in November, and I got the same response, someone will contact me. I called again in February, and I spoke to the same receptionist. She told me she had sent the information to the manager or owner of the company and was surprised no one had contacted me. I asked if I could speak with someone higher up and she told me I couldn’t, but that she would send the information to management again. I still haven’t heard anything. Michael Murphy and Christopher Deligiannis are the executives of this company and are completely irresponsible and bad business owners. I request you honor my signed rebate and pay me what you promised. It is completely unacceptable, false advertisement, and unethical business practice. Shame on the owners of this company to lure in customers with a contract they won’t honor. I should have gone with the other company.
I highly wouldn't recommend National Energy Installers to install any solar panel system or electrical system. I called them out for not following NEC. Where you can clearly see three hits just on one area of the install. The installers tried very hard to try to get the system inspected via photos which they email and the city inspector and would chat via email or text to correct the hits. I had to call the city to prevent the system from going on the grid till they fixed the issues. San Diego County needs to go back to physical inspections and stop these "COVID Style" of inspections. Which is what an country inspector told me the reason why they did it this way and the Inspection was done in October 2023 post COVID. I feel that this has given installers free range to cut corners; and try to push out installs quickly, without the quality/safety that we pay for these huge investments. 1. Conduit is going under the gas line/meter. 2. Grounded the electrical panel to the gas line. 3. Using a different metal to ground an electric system that would cause galvanic corrosion. In this case... THE GAS LINE! Huge safety risks that they kept brushing off in my emails and calls. Everything was corrected but that was without me pushing hard to intervene to get these things fixed. **Update** Chris D. who is the Chief Installation Officer had called me and was able to voice my problems that I had experienced during my install. I understand that there was a big push to get applications in before NEM 3 start date, so I totally understand why solar installers had to hire contractors during the time. I appreciate the call and happy Myra was able to fix my solar array map. Now I'm able to see a satellite photo and the correct array map for my home thank you. As far as contractors go. There should be more oversight on their work and quality of each install. Especially if it's the company's name that is in the lime light. There was still holes from when they had to remove and modify the equipment since it didn't follow code but I was able to patch it up. Bumping this review up two more stars; since they had addressed my concerns, but I hope more QA Quality Assurance measures are taken in place to ensure customer satisfaction is met. Thank you again!
Excellent customer service and results were as promised the new solar system we installed in our office buildings and my home have helped to save significant costs and the process was smooth and easy. I would highly recommend these guys for your project commercial or residential.
