If I could give 100 stars, I would. Everyone has been wonderful. Justin was fantastic, he was patient as he worked with us to get the best solar panels specifically designed for us. He walked us through all the paperwork, along with his knowledgeable and kind staff. They got the permits for us and were immediately available for any questions we had. Hugo has been attentive and professional and available to us at any time of day. The installers were efficient and had the job done quickly. They were respectful and made sure the area was clean when they finished. We are very happy with the production of our panels, I only wished we had done this sooner!

WARNING!! IMO - Breach of Contract!! Are they going bankrupt???? I had Solar Bear install solar panels on my house several years ago. IN THE CONTRACT they agreed to clean/wash my panels every year for 5 years. Since August they have refused to clean my panels. Something about reorganizing and no longer having panel cleaning department. They agreed to have an outside company clean my panels but they lied. Looks like maybe they don’t have the money to pay for it. Don’t trust their warranty or contract. In my case they refused to honor it. With the solar incentives expiring be very careful who you hire. Several solar panel companies may be going bankrupt. This could very well include Solar Bear. I say this because they refuse to honor their contract obligations over a $200 service. I did contact Solar Bear before writing this and got nothing from them. BE WARNED!!!!

I began roofing, foam, and solar services with this company in June 2024. The job was not completed until March 2025 — nearly 9 months later. Unfortunately, the long wait was just the beginning of the issues. By the time they finished, they had caused extensive damage to my home: • They damaged the AC unit, leaving us without air conditioning during 100+ degree weather for two full weeks. • They fell through the ceiling, leaving a massive hole. • They punched screws through our newly finished tongue and groove ceiling. • Our AC vents and ceiling lights were left hanging. When I was told it would be another two weeks before someone could come out to address the AC, I was forced to hire a private contractor who fixed it in just two hours — out of my own pocket. As for the other damages, they sent a handyman who clearly had no experience. The "repairs" were so poorly done that the results looked just as bad, if not worse, than the original damage. To this day — They never reimbursed me for the AC/Vent repair, never completed all the repairs, and have shown zero accountability. This has unfortunately has stolen my personal time, professional time, and extra funds which were never part of the contract. I have talked to the PoC employees, managers from multiple departments, and even the owner which has had no results to completion or reimbursement. Take this as a warning: Do not make your final payment until every last repair is completed and inspected. Once they get paid, the service stops. Communication becomes combative, especially with Julian — the foam division manager — who called me a liar and hung up on me when I attempted to escalate the issue after months of delays and inaction. This company may promise the full package, but all they left me with was a mess and a bill.

In the month of May 2025 I had Solarbear come out to remove and replace my Solor Panels 54, Tell the tune off 12,500, so after My solar panels were replaced back after a couple of days I noticed why were they so filthy so a representative from Solarbear came and tried to wash off with the garden hose the dirt but realized they had greasy stains handprints, mr. Mike from Solarbear came in and told me that they were gonna clean those panels Around my whole neighborhood and nobody's panels look like I'm still waiting since May for them to clean those solar panels I have Pictures to show you unbelievable this Company

I recently had to call Solar Bear for a service issue with my solar panels. To my surprise, I was told there would be a service fee, which was frustrating and honestly a bit shocking. When I signed up, I was told that parts and labor were included, so this felt like a sudden deviation from the original agreement. As you can imagine, it created an immediate sense of stress and dissatisfaction. Thankfully, I was connected with Erin, who completely turned the experience around. She was kind, professional, and genuinely empathetic about the situation. More importantly, she helped make things right in a way that left me feeling confident and satisfied with my solar purchase even two years later. To be completely honest, my experience with Solar Bear’s customer service after the initial sale has been hit or miss. At times, it’s felt like the support stops once the contract is signed. But after speaking with Erin, I get the sense that the company is actively working to improve how it supports customers post-installation. That said, I do hope this experience reflects a true shift in direction and not just a one-time fix. In a long-term commitment like a 25-year solar system, ongoing customer service is just as important as the system itself. I’d rather not have to revisit this review in the future with a different tone, especially over unexpected service charges or unclear support policies. For now, I’m hopeful. The system is working well, and it’s reassuring to see signs that Solar Bear is starting to put more focus on their customers. Not just during the sale, but afterward too

Minimal response or updates. I have been trying to contact them about a roof leak for over a month with no feedback. At this point youre better off paying your electric bill and suffering the crazy costs they present. I am saddened to admit this was the WORST decision I have made.. Stay far, far away!!! This company is horrible when it comes to customer service or care for their clients and should have any licensing they hold revoked.
