A-One Electric

When I bought my house in 1999, I hadn't heard anything at all about the dangers of Federal Pacific breaker panels. Friends told me to look into it a few years ago, and I've been concerned but too broke to do anything about it. When I recently got a fantastic deal on a new panel at Lowe's, I then just needed to have it installed. It's difficult to find someone to install a panel provided by the customer, but A-One Electric was cool with it. Karen came to my house and sized up the situation and gave me a great quote. Once the city inspector was available, Karen and her apprentice came and knocked everything out in a morning -- including the balance of stuff that was needed to bring us up to code. Karen and her crew were prompt, professional, expert, and super nice. And affordable. My home is safe, and I'm headed into the cool season with no worries about that panel. For a reasonable price, I got my home upgraded and the peace of mind that goes with it. Thanks, Karen!

Absolutely fantastic service! Came out the same day I called. Very knowledgable and hard working. Changed a hard wired disposal and dishwasher to be plugged into outlets instead so I can better replace these appliances in the future. Diagnosed some strange wires I found behind a kitchen drawer. Installed a remote control dimmer switch for our pool light. Fabulous work and a fair price. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough good things about this locally owned, woman owned small business. They were prompt, efficient, considerate and accommodating, even making sure that my work from home gig went smoothly and without interruption of internet service. I was also impressed with the great communication skills of everyone I dealt with both over the phone and in my home. They are not daunted by the peccadilloes associated with wiring in older homes, either. I highly recommend them for any electric job, big or small.

I've used the A-One team so many times in the past 10 or so years. They have always shown up when they say they will, do the job well and are worth the money. Save yourself the hassle of going with another company and call A-One. work they have done for me: Installed track lightening, installed additional light fixtures in hall, install new pendant lightening, run power to shed and install overhead lights.

A-ONE Electric is a locally-owned business, an ethically and expertly-run operation owned by Karen Phaup. She and two of her employees just updated some of the wiring in our 100-year old house, not an easy piece of work because a structure this old can be eccentric. Her evaluation of our issues was thorough, communication was clear, and her manner is pleasant and cheerful. The proposal/contract was issued promptly, it was comprehensive and reasonable, and work was begun and finished in a timely manner. Following that we had two outlets that were acting-up and that concerned us, and A-ONE came by immediately and took care of the problem. Highly recommended.
