SEASONAL HVAC tuneup scam: Abacus tried to hustle me for $3500 plus for something that I didn’t need. They charged $1k for a gas valve. I had my warranty team send out a tech and they proved that everything was working. They also charged almost $2500 to fix stairs to attic since 2 bolts were broken and wood split. For $110 I had that fixed. Now it’s very sturdy. Be careful with this company. Technician was Ronald Hobson. They even changed my $49 tuneup to a $99 inspection because they said the system wasn’t working. See attached.

I had the BEST experience with Abacus Air Conditioning thanks to Noe, Larissa, and Cesar! From start to finish, they thoroughly explained what was wrong with my home’s air conditioning & went above and beyond fixing the issues! What stood out most was how they treated me… Not just as a customer, but like family. It’s rare to find a team that combines expertise, honesty, and genuine care, but these three delivered it all! If you need AC service, I highly recommend requesting them! Abacus is blessed to have such an amazing team!

Abacus always comes through no matter what. I’ve used their services several times and the customer service and tech support with the tracker is amazing so I can plan my day around the technician’s schedule. Their prices are the best around and you’re always going to have a professional arrive to handle your needs. I wish every company operated with such professionalism and still stayed more than reasonable with their rates as you guys do. I saved y’all to my contacts and favorites. I know I’ll be calling y’all again for another repair eventually.

Abacus replaced my electrical breaker boxes. Al and Cole and the whole team were fantastic from start to finished! I feel I definitely got my money’s worth and more! I highly recommend Abacus!!

We have been working with Abacus for 15+ years; overall, they've been really good to work with (the bulk of the work is A/C). I am writing this review because their latest work was outstanding and fixed a bunch of issues. We have Abacus check our a/c and heating systems twice a year - summer and winter. The estimate we got this summer proposed replacing our AC units , which was extremely unexpected and not cheap. We requested a more senior technician to explain why this was just coming up, and they sent Jason Finlay. He is very knowledgeable about airflow - which was really helpful as the air in the attic wasn't circulating correctly. Unfortunately, we ended needing an overhaul of our system - which was much more expensive than the original estimate! But we are more comfortable on how the system is working. I appreciated that Jason was always available to answer any questions we had, including drawing diagrams of the work being done. The teams Abacus sent out were always professional and very helpful. So, my thanks to Jason, Jose, Hector, Eric, Michael and Pablo (I'm sure that's not a complete list.) Thanks to Abacus.

Abacus was quick & very professional. They put on shoe covers to protect our home. The service person was very thorough. We hired them for a furnace inspection. He checked everything in the attic as well as the temperature readings in each room. When he left, we felt very comfortable that our furnace was running well & safe to use for the winter. They also had a special for $49 which beat all the competition. I would recommend Abacus to anyone looking for air conditioning or heating services.

Plumbing service is not complete and I’m not satisfied, the pipe is not concealed properly, the hole dug to connect drain on main sewer is still exposed. I was told that they’re waiting for inspection from the city if it’s approved or not . I thought the pipe will be concealed by the gutters , it’s just ugly to look at . I hope something will be done . Thank you for reaching out.
