I have some questions.First, you did not call to setup and service my unit in the spring. I had to call you this month to get you out here to for the fall service with no spring service. We set up for this afternoon between 3 & 5 p.m. and I told her I wanted the outside unit cleaned. I understand that that is a spring only thing. I was at a meeting at church with 15 other people this morning with my phone turned off while expecting the call to be between 3 & 5. I saw the calls after I left the meeting. The service guy came anyway and knocked on the door with my wife home alone. She finally got in touch with me and felt safer letting him in. I had money ready to pay him when the service was completed. I want to know what you charged me last year when everything was smooth for the spring AND fall service? I do not remember it being anywhere near $240!!! Looking at the bill, all the service seemed normal except my outside unit has not been washed in 18 months. Let me know what last year cost me, is this $240 now normal, and do I wait for you to maybe call to set up last year? Looking for your response. Mike Petree
I had an excellent experience with technician Parker Blaylock. From start to finish, they were friendly, approachable, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was done right. You could tell they were highly knowledgeable, explaining what was going on in a way that made sense and answering all my questions patiently. What impressed me most was their determination and work ethic—they didn’t cut corners, worked steadily until the job was complete, and made sure everything was running perfectly before leaving. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical expertise with such a personable attitude, but Parker has both. Highly recommend! and have used this company multiple times at our hotel business thanks to his work
All About Care Heating & Air, Inc. Winston-Salem has NO responsibility, NO dependability, and NO trustworthiness. Do not waste your time and risk your life with this company. They damaged my kitchen wall through pure incompetency on 1/20, then failed to repair it the next day, even for three weeks. Now, they have the audacity to still charge me full price. Please take your responsibilities seriously, do not blame it on the weather and the job. I believe the weather would not be responsible for failing to fix the damaged wall if the weather could talk. There were many nice weather days in three weeks 1/21-2/9. 1. Incompetency and no responsibility The quote of a range hood installation was $1,100. This high price should guarantee a high quality of service. But it turned out they couldn’t follow a very simple manufacturer’s instruction guide. The below picture (photo 1) clearly indicates that the TOP of the hood should be installed 27.5-30.5" from the stove. Instead, they installed the BOTTOM of the hood 27.5-30.5" from the stove, which they had to move lower after I told them the mistake. Due to their incompetence of installing the hood properly, they left two huge holes in the kitchen wall of my new house on 1/20 (photo 2). They used fiberglass to temporarily fill in the holes. On 1/21, I requested for them to fix the wall today. But the company did nothing for TWO weeks. I didn't even receive a call from them. Rain kept going through the broken wall and we had to keep changing the stuffy materials. Every day, we felt frustrated for having to even deal with this company and their mess. In the THIRD WEEK, I called the manager Matt on 2/3, 2/7, and 2/8 to urge him to fix the wall ASAP. The damaged wall was still not fixed by the end of the third week. There was a winter inclement weather warning for the fourth week 2/10-2/13, which meant we needed to get the wall fixed soon. Since they wouldn't do it, we did it ourselves. So on 2/10, I called and told Wanda I declined to pay the bill for the service due to them failing to fulfill their obligations and responsibilities in three weeks. 2. I started to call around to get others’ quotes on fixing the wall, because I realized I couldn’t rely on this company anymore in the third week. But in the meantime, I still gave this company a last chance to fulfill its responsibility, which they failed to do. After I got involved in the repairs and got the repair job done in the Fifth week, on 3/14 they gave me the first call since 1/21 to collect the money and claim the credit for the repair. 3. Lack of dependability and trustworthiness The quote was $250 by the phone in the middle of December. So, I rejected two others' quotes. After a month, on1/17 they finally came to my new house but increased the quote to $1,100. I was SHOCKED. Because of the mistake they made and the low quality of service, I negotiated the service price to $800 on 1/21 with the condition that the damaged wall must be fixed today. It was a new agreement based on the fact of the service. But then on 3/26 email, they said, "I have removed the previously agreed upon $300.00 discount " , and "....your stainless steel backsplash. Which was NOT part of the original agreement and you were NOT charged for." I didn't even want to waste time arguing with them. These discrepancies show that when dealing with this company, you must document (record) everything in case they go back on their word, which they do not hesitate to do. 4. I agree with another reviewer on BBB: "The way they treat is awful, especially if anything goes wrong with the job they did, I definitely would recommend being careful if you decide to install your AC with this company." It’s absolutely true also including kitchen hood.
Eric is an awesome service technician and very knowledgeable. I am certain that All About Care goes the extra mile to keep their customers informed and units running efficiently. We have used them for 5 years and will continue to do so.
When my grandpa’s AC unit suddenly went out during a stretch of 90-degree weather, we were really worried about how he was going to stay safe and comfortable. Thankfully, All About Care HVAC came through in a big way. They responded quickly, arriving at his home in no time and got straight to work. The technician was not only knowledgeable and efficient, but also incredibly kind and respectful toward my grandfather, which meant a lot to our family. Within a short time, the unit was up and running again, and the house started cooling down fast. It’s rare to find a company that combines professionalism with genuine care, but All About Care HVAC truly lives up to their name. We’re so grateful for their timely service and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again or recommend them to others.
Update 11/10/2021: Interesting how it took over TWO YEARS for the owner to post a response... Update: finally fixed 10/1... tech courteous, quick, and knowledgeable and took measures to make sure siding guys didn't break off the pipes with a hammer like last time. Tech should have foamed the gaping hole in subwall he removed to fix the pipes (we're not calling them back-- I'll invest $9 for a can of spray in foam at Lowe's and do it myself). Subwall and plate drenched INSIDE vapor barrier! Lucky this won't cause structural damage! It should have never taken this long to get fixed! Update 09/24/2019: Reply posted yesterday. A warranty claim work order was submitted to them on 09/02/2019. Now, 22 days later, this is the ONLY communication with them. Hope email provided yields a response... System under warranty through them since they installed it in our new home. Called to get a work order in due to condensation pouring out of the siding of our home (see photos)... there's supposed to be a pipe leading the water AWAY from the foundation. That was July 5th... called 2 weeks later, and was told we're supposed to call the warranty company: basically to jump through hoops to get their shoddy work addressed. Now August 17th and no response from either. Avoid this company; the fact that they don't respond to their reviews says it all.
We have used All About Care For several years across a few residences and have always found them to be transparent, reliable, affordable and extremely customer oriented. The technicians are always prompt, knowledgeable and professional.
