Everyone here is so incredible but in particular: Jesus, Hector, Glenda, David, Henry. They all helped me with so many things from cutting my wood perfectly, to finding specific items in the store, to putting things in my car for me, and the kindness is palpable. Service is king here—there's a reason so many women shop here—probably because the big box stores don't feel as welcoming. I'll never go to a Home Depot or Lowes unless this places happens to be closed. I made this bench a reality today because of all their incredible help. ❤️

What a beautiful experience from start to finish. Everyone was super helpful, especially John!! Helped us pick out things for our outdoor area and explain when the best time to plant certain things. If you live anywhere around here and want to build your outdoor space, you have to come here!

This place is the complete opposite experience that you get at the big box competitor stores. Good plant and ceramic selection. Generally good selection of the typical hardware store stuff. Employees are really friendly and responsive.

Have no idea why anyone would go to Home Depot when you can go to Anawalt Lumber where the associates actual care & help the customers. I went for the Garden Center. NOLAN assisted me. When something I wanted wasn't in the outside section he walked me inside to find what I was looking for. I then had the pleasure of having GLENDA as my cashier. Such a friendly, helpful person as well. Even though the store was slow when I shopped, there were 2 cashiers waiting to serve customers. When I walked outside, Nolan had my plants all packed up in a box & brought them to me. Whoever is the manager of the store is doing a great job hiring such good people who want to serve unlike the pointers at the big box companies.

My local nursery great guys in the nursery department have been around for over 20 years working the neighbor hardware nursery you can find just about anything you need succulents 5 inch pots up to 5 gallon great parking just south of Santa Monica Blvd. on Highland . See you there.
