APEX Hot Air Balloon Rides

This was for sure one of the best experiences and adventures of my entire life, exciting and breathtaking. The pilot, Jon, and the girl, Lindsay, working on the ground, were clearly a consolidated team and knew perfectly what to do. It was an honour to see them put the hot air baloon together and have the pleasure to get on board. Jon made us all feel at ease despite the obvious trepidation and little fear it is normal to experience. I nearly had tears in my eyes when he shared how he made his personal dream come true, how he never gave up his greatest desire and worked hard to make it happen. I would recommend the experience and the crew to anyone who wants 100% satisfaction. .

We went for a sunrise flight with the crew on 5/25/2025. I had never been in a hot air balloon before but I had been dreaming of going on one for years. That dream finally became a reality with Apex balloons! Everyone was super kind, helpful and they all seemed to truly enjoy their job rather than seeing it as a chore. On our flight we got to do a "splash and dash" where we got to float on top of a pond and the basket of the balloon touched the water, we didn't get wet or anything just something super excited that we got to do! After our flight we celebrated with mimosas! The crew also took a lot of pictures and videos that they sent to us at the end of our flight which was such a cool bonus. So, I say all that to say this, there are many companies to go hot air ballooning with in the phoenix area, but I am so happy that we didn't go with anyone else and we ultimately picked this company and I know you'll be happy you did too. Thanks for everything Lindsey, Lee and Jon! You guys rock ❤️!

Wow what a great experience! This was our first time in a hot air balloon and couldn’t ask for a better experience! Jon and Lindsey are very friendly and informative. If you’re debating on flying, go for it

Highly recommend this company!!! We we're up longer than the other balloons and were notified the night before our first reservation that it was canceled due to wind but we had lovely conditions this morning for a once in a lifetime experience. Jon and Lindsay with APEX were top notch! Jon's knowledge, humor and experience with flying put riders at ease. Lindsay worked hard setting up and taking down the ballon and taking pictures before liftoff. Interesting info on balloon history with a mimosa toast afterward. Excellent experience from beginning to end. Thank you, Jon and Lindsay at APEX!

Amazing flight with Jon. We were treated to an awesome sunrise as the balloon inflated. Spectacular views from the balloon and just an overall great experience with a champagne toast at the end of the ride. My daughter loved the flight. The team was fun and professional.

Had such a fine time! From the start Pilot Jon, was nice, refreshing, experienced, and attentive. Each point of our flight, he explained each portion. As we left the office, rode to the flight site, as they blew up the balloon, prepared the basket, and prepared us for lift off. If this is on your bucket list, do it! But not just with any company, do it with Apex! I was in Surprise Arizona and found this group in Peoria! So much, not scary, nice staff, awesome crew, and great pilot! Thanks Jon!
