I was really excited to go solar, I was ready to sign with another company, but a friend of mine recommended Abraham from ATLS. We had a talk, he was really professional and friendly, when I had a question he was answering with no issues. The package that I bought also included to roof insulation, this processed was supposed to be done after the panels were up and running. I have been calling him since the end of November to schedule the work with no luck. Also wanted to have a technician to take a look to the equipment and answer my questions I had. Once he texted he would call me back (that was almost 2 months ago), but until today no answer. This is making my solar experience go bad. Normally I don't like to give bad reviews, but this has been really frustrating and I'm not sure what else to do.

So I first met Abraham when he knocked on my door talking about this solar program which could help lower our electric bills, at first I was skeptical because it sounded too good to be true but we decided to let him look at our bills since the report was free. He came back the following day and walked us through how solar power works, how our bills will look after solar and then he showed us a design for our home. After showing us the design he broke down the cost difference of our current bills and how much solar would cost to use the same amount of power, again we were reluctant because we just don’t see any of our neighbors having solar panels. We decided to put it off because our bills aren’t too bad in the winter but we decided to keep his information just incase we decided to change our minds. A month goes by and we see one of our neighbors house suddenly has solar panels so we decided to ask them who they got them through and sure enough it was Abraham who had helped them with the process a month or so ago! We decided to call Abraham again to schedule another meeting, after sitting down and going over the process once again he helped us get qualified for the program and we signed up for a 37 panel system that should provide 85% of our energy needs (we were limited by the amount of roof space we had sadly)! Abraham was very patient with us in our decision making process but he ensured we knew exactly what we were getting into and held our hand throughout the entire process! Solar panels isn’t for everyone but if you are curious about ways to lower your electric bill I’d recommended you sit with Abraham for a free quote!

After meeting with Meraki, CAM Solar and ATLS we felt that ATLS was giving us more bang for our buck. While they weren’t the cheapest they definitely did the best to walk us through the true costs of solar and the differences between the equipment and warranties. Everyone said they had 25 year warranties but it wasn’t until we spoke with ATLS that they broke down what each warranty covered, come to find out the other two companies were only a 10 year workmanship warranty! The cherry on top was that they’ve been servicing the RGV for 3 years and were able to back up that statement with testimonials from customers who’ve had their system for a few years!
