Axon
📍 Battery storage providers in Scottsdale
Axon, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, is a provider of law enforcement technology, specializing in conducted electrical weapons (tasers) and related accessories. They offer a range of products aimed at both professional and personal defense applications. While their initial offerings aimed for accessibility, reports suggest inconsistent product reliability and a lack of readily available support for users.
The company’s focus has shifted to higher-end devices, however, concerns remain regarding the warranty process and post-sales service. Users should carefully evaluate product reviews and consider alternatives before committing to Axon solutions. The discontinuation of certain accessories raises questions about long-term product support.

Terrible products, horrible manufacturer Terrible products, horrible manufacturer This in regards to a recent experience the Pulse Plus. The product developed a short in the battery wire in less than a year with almost no use (two live tests where only two cartridges were used.) The Galco holster they sold as an accessory to this is also way too stiff which leads to problems holstering because of the steel wire that's embedded in it. The problem with having that wire inside the way it is, is that it eventually pierces through the leather and once it does it tears the plastic enclosure of the taser pulse to shreds each and every time you holster/draw it. The device also doesn't have an explanation on how to use melee mode even though it is advertised to have it as a feature in several places that I saw. I coincidentally stumbled across melee mode when I didn't have a cartridge in it. It purely shoots projectiles and with a very low trigger weight at that. The slightest touch of the trigger can set this thing off. I notified Axon of the problem regarding the holster and they didn't care whatsoever. They refused to acknowledge the issue and ignored emails where I brought it up. Eventually I sent it in for warranty service due to the short that developed and they were clueless about how to look up invoices to verify warranties. Do you not have a CRM or sales system?!?!! You have contracts with state departments yet don't have a modern system to look up simple things? Instead they insisted on me providing proof of purchase and didn't even offer to repair ir for a fee. A wire short should've been super easy to repair. It took them a year just to return the device and just before they offered to return it, they offered to destroy the device and give me a 35% off coupon towards my next purchase. What a joke! They were also misleading and made it seem like the device was completely inoperable and had to be destroyed which was probably a shallow attempt to get me to buy a new device. I would've never expected a company like this to be such hucksters. What is even more of a joke the RMA department's note they included when they shipped it back. You can tell they looked at the physical damage (FROM THE HOLSTER,) said it was "customer damage" then refused to honor the warranty without looking deeper into things. This coincides with the email I received that never mentioned exactly why they couldn't repair the device. It's too bad because I was looking at their next offering that is coming to the market for higher end tasers, but I doubt I'll ever buy from this company again and I suggest other people look elsewhere as well. The Taser Pulse is a terrible product which is why it was discontinued in the first place. Which was a surprise to me as I had recently bought the thing as well as something like a 20 pack of the ridiculously EXPENSIVE cartridges that might as well be paperweights at this point! It's also such a coincidence that they no longer sell the Galco holster that I bought as well and might've stopped selling it before the Taser Pulse was discontinued.
Axon makes awesome products that help to keep the community and law enforcement safe. Definitely recommend their Taser Pulse 2 for its versatility and ease of use for everyday carry.
If you want to be educated on this company you should watch Season 12 Episode 6 of Last Week Tonight Show with John Oliver.
I have tried for two years to get a refund, as I no longer need to re-cert for taser instructor due to being disabled now. Over 7 months ago they finally agreed to refund the $500 I paid them. They said I would be refunded within a 3 month window. Here I am 7 months later, they will not call me back, email me back or follow through with assurances this will be escalated to someone who is a supervisor so I may get answers. This has went on long enough!! Ive always received fast and adequate customer service for the 8 years I was an instructor, but as soon as they are aware you are now disabled and need your money back, you are treated like you dont exist! Shame on you Taser/ Axon!
I ordered a Pulse + accessory and provided a street address for shipping. 24 hours passed and I didn’t hear anything about my order which was to be sent overnight. I reached out to them and they said it was a PO Box and it had to be signed for by a 21 year old. A neoprene taser sleeve- needed to be signed for- why? And the shipping address I proved was NOT a PO Box- just ridiculous. Will be looking for an alternative product.
The low quality product produced by this company doesn’t provide the protection you want from a taser. The taser I purchased worked for a very short period of time. The company avoided helping me resolve the issue in any way. I recommend finding a different manufacturer.
Does Steven even work here I have called and called and no return call from Steven?..On the note does anyone work here I sent a email at the beginning of June and I was told I would be contacted in 2 day's and that has never happened! Getting fed uo with thesetcloecl!! DON'T PURCHASE - The low quality product sold by this company isn't worth the protection you want from a taser. The taser I purchased worked for only a short period of time. The company avoided helping me resolve the issue in any way. The taser went into the trash, along with the money spent. Seriously, find another manufacturer if you want reliability and customer support do not buy from Axon AKA Tazer the scammers!
