Banks Electric Inc.

Extremely disappointed with the service from Banks Electrical Inc. They installed a home audio system that has never worked properly. The kitchen speakers never worked at all, the phone connection constantly drops, and now several speakers throughout the house have stopped working entirely. Despite multiple attempts to have them fix it, nothing was ever resolved. It became clear they weren’t equipped to troubleshoot or support the system they installed. I regret hiring them and would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable or professional service.

Banks Electric has done multiple projects for us and most recently installed a Generac generator for our home. They were always on time, professional and got the job done much faster than we imagined. We had an estimate from someone else that was $5,000 higher for the exact same job! Thank you, Banks Electric!

A couple of years ago, I had Banks Electric remove my intercom, send it off for repairs and reinstall. The service was great and I actually submitted a review accordingly. Through no fault of Banks, the intercom failed again two years later. They removed it and I sent it off for repairs. When it returned, repaired, I again asked Banks to reinstall it, but now, they refused, stating that they had "problems" doing such work. I am flabbergasted. In their reply, the owner failed to understand that I sent the unit to a repair facility in New York. It is back now in my hands and repaired. All that I am asking and I will pay fair price for them to re-install.

I had trust on them since I used them for service along time. But I was charge more $175 for and for the same issue due to oulet not working, water leaking all over my floor, only thing they can say until next available appointment . Mean while I can have my floor full of water ruinning my dishwasher. She could not at least say I'll try to find something since electrician stated it was under warranty.

I’m not one to review a lot of places. I only post a review when I believe what was done to me shouldn’t happen to anyone else. I was sent an email yesterday at 12:04 pm saying FINAL NOTICE - CUT OFF for our alarm system. It was a bill that I was the first I’d seen of it. I sent an email today at 9am (I don’t check my personal email very often) asking if there was a portal I could pay online. The response came back "it has already been shut off." THEY DIDNT EVEN GIVE ME 24 hours TO PAY THE BILL. I asked if I could pay it to be turned back on and their response was they require 1 YEAR PAYMENT UP FRONT. How sleazy. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It’s very unfortunate because I do all I can to support small business, but this is why some small businesses don’t have a very good reputation. EXHIBIT A. I’m on to ADT.

Exorbitant prices and hit/miss service. There was a time when this was a good provider of electrical services, but not anymore.

Ughh, just avoid, unless you want sub-par work by unlicensed electricians.
