Mike did a very thorough job ...at a fair price. At one point he told me he had to go get different parts ...he was back shortly with just the right parts to complete the job perfectly... I think he really wants to do the best job he can...

Absolutely awesome experience today with Bassards Electric! Michael and Alex showed up same day and not only fixed the problem, but also got to the root of it and explained everything to me in a manner I could understand. I will have them back to upgrade my panel and for any other electrical jobs at my house.

I had the pleasure of hiring Mike Bassard from Bassards Electric to tackle what seemed like a daunting task—installing three ceiling fans with no prior hookups and a stunning chandelier in my daughter’s room. I had an appointment for 9am and in less than an hour, Mike had removed my old ceiling fan and assembled and installed my new one. He was friendly, courteous, and professional, and the experience was fantastic and so was the price. Absolutely recommended and won’t hesitate to call in the future about anything else I need done.

I spoke to Michael in the beginning of March for an estimate to remove & replace our entry way vaulted ceiling light fixtures. I provided him with the information needed (height of ceiling measurement) for the estimate . He provided me with a quote and explained that he was booked out until the end of the month but asked me to text him with my information so he could email an invoice . After 2 weeks I contacted him to schedule an appointment and remind him that I never received an invoice in which his response was " oh yes I forgot, I need to start writing things down" he told me he would email me the invoice that evening, which he never did . What is upsetting for me is I stopped looking for an electrician after speaking to him because I felt his quote was fair and reasonable. Moving forward to March 31, which is the day that he verbally committed to replacing the fixtures . He never sent me the invoice nor did he make any contact with me regarding the work . Michael had all my contact information and he did not bother to call/text with any reasons as to why he wasn’t going to do the install that he had already quoted me for. I contacted Bassards Electric because of the good reviews. I don’t normally leave a review but Michael’s customer service & organizational skills could benefit with some improvement . Hopefully this review will help him acknowledge that he shouldn’t treat customers in such a way .

In the evening on memorial day our power started flickering. I tried to troubleshoot it myself. No luck . Called at 8am next morning. Michael and an apprentice showed just before 10am . They check everything out. One leg of P.G.&E. line had come loose from the pole . I had to have power company climb the pole but Bassards elect. Was awesome. Right on the button as the time frame they gave . The guys were friendly , efficient and knew how to check out a 140yo house . I thought because it was an emergency I'd get racked across the coals , but no . They we're very reasonable. When we renovate , we're going to use Bassard . I'll tell everyone that asks for a reference for elect work them . Thanks for your help and great job .
