Stopped in on a Saturday morning, because someone suggested I get a used battery here. The man I encountered was extremely unprofessional, rude and disrespectful! He had a tantrum followed by slamming doors! I walked in telling him I had dead cells in my battery. He immediately told me to pull around. (To the garage) I pulled in, he connected cables to my battery, and told me "its no good". He gave me a price for a new battery, and I told him I could get a brand new battery for half that price at another retailer. I explained I stopped in to check on a used battery and he told me they do not sale used batteries. (I didnt even know you could purchase used battery until it was suggested to me by someone who purchased one from this location before) After this interaction, this grown man had a full blown tantrum! Yelling, using profanity and slamming doors. I pulled out of the garage, and because he was being so irate, I pressed record as I entered the main door to discuss the way he treated me as a customer. I wish I could share it here. Apparently business isn't going to well, and I was the person he took it out in this day! His behavior was WRONG!! I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANY ONE, ON ANY DAY FOR ANYTHING
The owner here was terribly rude to a good friend of mine. Not only was he rude he had the nerve to imply as many ppl do a certain stipulation to "ppl of color" but none the less I'm confident he'll continue to have the days he deserves!! My friend is covered by the blood of Jesus and he saw and heard the owner here at the battery exchange.
Terrible customer service as evidenced by the rude video surfacing on FB... That is a shame how you talked to an outstanding member of that community Lisa Heard! We don't care you've been there for 32 years we've been in the neighborhood for over 50 years . You should hire some help with your super frustrated self and learn how to talk to a Queen in our community. If you don't like the people you service you should LEAVE!!!!!
I was at UT and my car wouldn’t start, so they drove all the way to me, brought and installed a new battery, and made sure my car started again. Super patient, kind, respectful, and incredibly supportive. Literally a life saver. Thank you!
I went here back in November and got a battery. It is April now I was two hours away from my house when my car broke down. I got my car towed to Midas and they told me the battery is testing really low. So I had to buy a new battery totaling $280. I called the battery exchange and for one he was rude in the beginning. And then told me I got ripped off. Saying no battery cost that much. Told me he would SEE if he can pro rate me for the battery. I feel like if I just bought it and it has a warranty on it. Why do you have to SEE if you can do something for me when it’s maybe 5 months old. I want my money back from this shady business. He was talking to me like I didn’t know anything. I will never go back here. It’s a horrible shady business. I do not recommend m.
As an electronics recycler I often run across small lead-acid batteries and car batteries. Battery Exchange is my downstream partner for recycling them. Bob is always friendly and willing to help unload them. Then he gives me a fair price in exchange. I'm grateful he is there. Keep up the good work, Bob! Godspeed.
The cost was significantly cheaper than what automotive stores are charging. No appointment needed. Quickly tested my old battery, and installed my new battery in less than 15 mins.
