Steelman's Ace Hardware

I was in the store, dealing with one of the female staff and the manager, Kirsch, came out yelling at me, "what side are you On?" He told me I didn’t know anything screams conspiracy theories at me and frightened me inappropriately with his extreme political beliefs, and though Had spent thousands of dollars and love the store. I will never go back. Interestingly, there was no significant Reprisal or apology. Dawn I’m surprised that you did nothing. I was yelled at abusively for no reason… Shaking for days and afraid of this man… Never been treated by anybody like that ever for no reason.

Had fabric screen replacement in 2'×2' screen frame. Was quoted flat rate fee of 50.00 for windows and 100.00 for doors by 2 associates which is high to begin with. Then after 8 days get a call it's ready and 72.00 . 50.00 was just labor. The + materials was never mentioned. Have done a lot of business there, never again. They can go bankrupt as far as I'm concerned. Had glass replaced in same window at 65.00 in Winston for parts and labor and ready in less than an hour.

I love this store. Every person I have encountered in the store has been helpful. You never have to go looking for somebody to help you. The staff is very attentive to your needs and are friendly. Typically I use the post office at the back and I’m very pleased with the services there. In fact when I have an issue with another local post office, I will often come to this one because I know they can explain it in a much more personable manner than can be done in the regular post office! Usually at the holidays, I do much of my retail Christmas shopping in the store because they have so many different Items!

Great hardware store with way better service and character than the big box stores. They have great gardening supplies, plants, hardware , supplies and more. They also have ♿ handicap accessible parking and restrooms. They also sell some motor equipment like weed eaters, chainsaws, and lawn mowers.

The staff was friendly and i was able to easily locate what i was looking for in the store.

Very personable and professional staff. They're always informative and ready to assist. The selection is also great. Luv this place!
