I bought two reconditioned marine battery’s haven’t even used them yet one day after the 3 month warranty I install battery one is good the others not but they won’t replace it. One day past warranty and you can tell I haven’t used them they look just the same as when I bought them Would not recommend!
Went to Mor- Co Battery today to evaluate if we needed a new battery. The battery installation crew are extremely hardworking and they were quite honest and helpful to us (we are seniors) with our truck. I even thought I had lost my purse wallet and the manager rated a ten in helping me trace if I had left it there,. I am grateful for his actions., Last but not least I would rate the owner of Mor-CO Battery Company one star,...why? I think it is inhuman to have a hard working battery crew toiling in the hot sun as it blasts the business from the west. In the hottest part of the day these guys are out their working in the hot sun installing batteries. Business owner (s) needs to extend shading so it covers the workers, The customers can go inside, Environmental health and safety its inhuman to expect your workers to work without any protection from extreme heat, It is so obvious as you sit there waiting inside watching them. work. Please extend shading even if its bamboo shading for the workers.
They need a course in customer service. I have bought batteries from them over many years on different lifts and other pieces of equipment. This time around, 1 of my techs pointed out to me that the lifespan on the Mor-co brand of batteries was getting shorter all the time but I still called to check on replacements. (The batteries are lasting less than 2 years on multiple pieces of equipment (not the equipment's fault) with factory chargers, etc.. The Interstate Brand have lasted longer when we tried those.) I called to order multiple batteries for my lifts that needed them. I also asked if they could put them on their truck that already comes to our area. This would not be a special trip, they have done this before for me. They stated that now I would have to pay a fee to have 4 batteries delivered since I don't have an account. I would think the profit on multiple batteries would have had some motivation to cover the fee, but I guess not. Yet in the past, when their forklift operator ran his forks into my truck bed and damaged it (while loading batteries) I didn't charge them a fee for my time going to the body shop to get an estimate and then returning to get repairs done. I was kind to them about it, never even yelling at them for the damage they made. Also, while on the phone, the guy tells me they will have to charge me $30 each for the cores without asking if I have cores. Just ask and stop with the throwing charges at me as if you really want to stop me from buying a battery at all. I have multiple boom and scissor lifts and I had already explained I was replacing existing batteries, so there are cores to return. These guys know little about customer service, it appears they are mad at the world and take it out on customers. I won't buy again. I ordered Lithium batteries from another supplier and I am moving on to better things. I wish them the best but I am done.
Morco raised their prices . . Again , they blame it on 'tariffs' , but the tarrifs dont take effect until Aug. 1st , this is July 6 (2025) i asked if they had any American made batteries, they said NO ! that they get them from Egypt . . . Lol No mor . . . co.
Won't match online prices, very rude over the phone. Employee's need customer service training. I would not shop here.
I was surprised by Morco's approach to charging an extra $20.00 for what they termed as 'installation' of our battery, which merely involved unscrewing and screwing back a single bolt on each post. This minimal effort hardly justifies such an exorbitant fee. When I offered to perform the task myself, they declined to lend me a single 1/2 wrench, citing that tools are strictly for employee use. Even after offering my ID as collateral, they refused to accommodate me. In addition, their condescending tone when explaining where to purchase a wrench, and how they sometimes come in sets, was unnecessary. In an attempt to fetch my own wrench from home, my car battery unexpectedly died. Left with no alternative, I reluctantly agreed to their terms and paid for both the battery and installation. While I am satisfied with the battery itself, I find it unfair to demand an additional $20.00 under these circumstances. I kindly request a refund of the $20.00 charge for installation, as I believe it was neither justified nor reasonable given the situation.
Been buying morco batteries for some time. Bought 2 last April one is good still other won't hold a charge for two days just sitting on the table. I live 150 miles from them and finally had a chance to bring it in and see about warranty. Guy told me it was completely dead and was reading that it had a bad cell. They told me they'd have to keep it and charge it for 48 hours. They said they'd loan me a Blem battery for a $45 deposit. I told them I Don't live there and don't have any idea when I could come back. Battery is for a commercial truck and I have no time to be deal with non sense like that! Sorry morco but I will not be back!!! Thank you for your past service it was good till this point.
