PNM is annoying when they bill you incorrectly. They not only charge the consumer for their mistake and mess up my previous bill statement by canceling after I paid. So now they decide to mess up my payments. Now my bill is not only higher but the next statement is coming out soon so now I have to worry about that. Terrible company and they know they can get away since they are the only electricity company.

I hate that such a poorly run company is allowed a monopoly. Please allow for competition! Then we might get an ethical utility company. PNM deserves negative stars. I haven’t had an accurate bill in months because they seem to rely on this outdated payment processing system that can’t credit you properly. How safe is this payment system that is older than me? As buggy as their system is, I don’t feel like my data is secure.

If it’s possible to give them zero stars, I would give them zero stars. We received a bill from them for a house that we haven’t owned since 2013. To make things even more interesting I called about this bill two years ago. They told me that they would remove it and that would be the end of it and it was not. But the icing on the cake is a customer service representative when I called basically called me a liar didn’t want to listen to what I was explaining and was so rude. I could not even believe it. What a disaster at PNM.

One of the leg failed to my apartment complex, no major appliance would work, I had some lights, I called at 0315, apparently I did not know what I was talking about and the issue was with my apartment not a issue with them. I called back at 0700 when my neighbors reported the same thing was told calling them was essentially useless as I live in an apartment complex they need maintenance to call them, finally they listened and there is a call in with 106 people having issues. Lessons learned they don't care about your calls, apparently calling in is just annoying to them, and if you live in an apartment they don't care about your call the maintenance guys need to call to get anything done, so the entire day with one leg out appliances trying to run and clicking no AC. And thr chance of overheating panels sparks and fires from one leg being down a chance of my appliances being fried they sat on their butts discriminated against me for living in an apartment and forced me to wait till my apartment people called them.

PNM just doesn't care about its customer base. I had a frayed power line going across my back yard for many, many years. I called PNM. I wrote a letter to PNM. I called them again. My line is fine, I was told. Nobody came out to actually look at it. Finally, during a storm, I had power surges that destroyed several electric appliances in my home, in particular my beloved Sony stereo. Since PNM would not help me, I called an electrician who called PNM for me to explain the dire situation to them, and only then did they take action to replace the old, frayed power line to my home. PNM raises its rates and doesn't care about its customer base. If they can get out of doing work, they will. Get solar power if you can afford it.

Biggest scam company ever…. Turned my services off at 500$ when I just paid the previous month. Now I owe 1142.69$…. Out of no where. Won’t let me pay online I have to go in person apparently, they say they are open 5 days a week until 6PM but are only open Thursday and Friday until 3PM. I wish we had other options.

Happy to wash their hands of any responsibility for dirty power being supplied to a well that provides water to two houses with kids. Paid two electricians to come out and both point to PNM. PNM points to well but won't actually replace meter or check bus at house
