Wayne is very talkative and nice. He helped us with all the questions I had - unfortunate that I couldn’t purchase my first bike from this Honda location but I surely will purchase my Kawasaki from them- however I purchased my clothing from this location. Great people in the back and very helpful. They spent about 25 30 minutes explaining the differences for helmets and boots. Highly recommend this business for your adventurous needs..
The guy on the floor was weird and offputting. The showroom is clean and nice and they have many models that you can touch and sit on, but I immediately got a vibe that the salesman just wasn't really happy to be there. I went there to test drive and they wouldn't give me a clear answer if they did test rides or not. It was just bad vibes in there so I didn't want to stay very long. I went to Garcia Honda instead and everyone was happy and excited to be there and they had me sign the waiver for test rides and looked at my license like a normal dealership. I tested four or five bikes that day, found the one I liked and bought it the very next day!
Honestly extremely horrible experience. Salesman was rude from the get go and honestly just lost a sale. We walked in with cash to buy a RZR and he was rude from jump. When trying to ask questions he was not helpful at all. Not to mention, everything stated online does not add up with what the will honor in store. He said he was gonna work numbers and came back with more of price tag and less of a value. Do not recommend working with this location at all.
After bending a rim on my cross country ride the entire team (parts, service and sales) went out of their way to get me back on the road.
R&S currently has my bike, so, I called to schedule an appointment before July 4th and was told to call back after the 4th. I did and was told parts would take a few days. A week and a half later still not ready and they tried to sell me an Air filter and said 5- 7 days for parts, Parts shouldn't take the dealership days to get. I'll update later let's see how this ends. I asked for the bike back asap, and skip the air filter. I'll do it cheaper and faster myself. Update to come. UPDATE: I have the bike back some of the faring were roughed up a bit. But I cant say it was the shop. Toby worked it out the delay quickly and we're square! Thank you
I was a first time rider looking for my first bike. I had already done research prior to going in to the dealership so I knew what I was wanting to look at. I had great communication with Wayne from the start and I never felt pressured to look out of my comfort zone. Friendly service from the start with great conversation about various bike options during my time in the shop. Left with my very first bike as a result. I had looked at other shops as well however the ongoing communication and friendly service was my reason for choosing to do business with R&S. I'll definitely be going back for future services.
My advice, stay away from this location and give their Lomas location a try, which may or may not have the same issues as its the same company. However in the little amount of time I have spent at their Lomas location, it has indeed been more pleasant. This dealership from their Sales department to their Service shop is a complete joke. Sales staff seemed to lack knowledge of the vehicles they had, and were uncaring when I pointed out issues on a bike I was looking to purchase and made no attempt to go look at those issues. Finance didn't return call for days even though I explained I was on a short timeframe and was assured I would be called that day. When they finally did call back, no apology was made for the late callback, and I had already purchased a new bike from another dealer. I'm sure they believe that the typical line of, sorry we were busy flies with all customers, but with the times I have been in their, and my knowledge with dealerships, I know they had the time and just didn't care enough to worry about it. I'm sure if I called saying I was interested in a bike I would have been called back much quicker, but the fact I had a different question, they seemed not to care which turns me off as a potential customer. Now on to their service department. I'm always willing to give a shop a chance, and although I have heard many horror stories about this shop for years, due to the fact that they said they could accommodate me quickly and they seemed to want to help me get a bike fixed, I gave them a chance. First time bike was taken in for a minor leak, I was told it wasn't leaking, but rather extra grease from the factory. Funny then that about a moth later when I took it back, the manufacturer covered the repair as it was indeed leaking. Yet again, due to the my bad poor judgement and wanting to give them a second chance, I took the bike back for another much more major repair which once again was covered by the manufacturer. Pretty upsetting was the fact that the dealer tried to tell me that the issue was my fault even though all maintenance was done in accordance with the manual. And once again, not a smart move as a dealer to blame customers for something as if all customers are lacking knowledge of their machines. Even if something is a fault of the customer, if you as the service shop are being paid, which in this case they knew they were by the manufacturer, it's probably better to just let bygones be bygones and not try and blame a customer if you don't really know what happened. FYI some of us are well informed and even certified mechanics. Also funny that the ego demonstrated seemed to have no bounds. When the bike was picked up, there were multiple issues found, and some that were so simple, it has made me question the entire job. Such as seat not installed correctly, screws that were over tightened which stripped the threads, antifreeze not topped up all the way, and when asked to fill it, was told that there is no fill line and I must be mistaken. But they did fill it when I pointed out there were indeed min max fill lines and they were wrong, still no apology for that either. And on top of all that, the simplest thing on these ATVs, multiple plastic push pins/rivets were not installed or partially installed. Not to mention the rack of the machine put on with a bungee that had to be cut by me because the rack was installed with the bungee caught in between the top and bottom of the machine. All of this by the way took way longer than it was supposed to, which they attributed to the parts delay. Although based on what was told to me, I believe this to be false but am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Now, i will say that a new service writer I believe named Andrew did call me a couple times after he was hired to check in with me about the status, which did make the experience more positive. Will never again give them any type of business and hope that they can become better for future customers.
