I used to love coming to this place over the big chain stores. Today's visit was very surprising. When I used to come here the staff was always super friendly, but today was very different. The lady up front was very rude I greeted her with no response. The gentleman that worked in the back was nice and helpful. When I went to pay for my item the lady was once again very very rude. Now I know why this place is empty now.
Service was excellent. Employees were phenomenal. I cannot however place 5 stars or even 2 stars because this place was a furnace! 100 degree temperature outside and just as hot inside. I felt horrible for these employees having to endure this heat. Samons should not be having their employees work under such conditions. This place sells air conditioners yet lets their employees come to work and suffer in the heat with no A/C. Shame on you! Your employees should be sent home with pay while you fix this problem.
We found what we needed, one of the ladies with her hair up could've have been a little nicer. Went in for a toilet handle, didn't know there were ones that went to the side on the toilet, we tried explaining but got confused when she asked if it was on the side or in the front. I can tell she got frustrated with us. Maybe try being friendlier when someone's confused.... just a reminder it cost nothing.
I tried Home Depot and Lowe's and neither store had a shower valve I needed. I couldn't order it online because the water to my house is shut off until I can replace it. Called this place and they were able to help over the phone. Got there and the employees went above and beyond to help me because I have no clue what I'm doing. I would definitely go here again.
I call and talked to David he assured that they had what I was looking for i came to the store (25 minutes drive) and no they don't have it what a goose this Dave is.
Great customer service in the HOTTEST BUILDING on the Westside!!! I can't believe how hot it is and this is an plumbing store! Come on Samons!!! Bless your employees hearts for showing up every day and working in that heat!!!
