A solid 4.9 for sure! I’m an east coast cyclist, was traveling through Albuquerque, stopped for a ride, but had a blow out shortly after starting out. My Campagnolo rims could be used as tubular or tubeless, thankfully. Turns out that I was totally unfamiliar with ‘Goat Heads’ . . . a plentiful plant/weed with small, sharp, thorny ends that easily punctured the thin road tires I was riding on. The heat (above 100°) and altitude likely didn’t help me much either. Even though I had tools and supplies to fix things myself, I chose to visit a local shop and get local experience working in my Bianchi Infinito. I selected this place after reading a bunch of reviews on Google Maps . . . couldn’t believe how many bike shops there were to choose from. This place DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I’ve been riding over 40 years, so am very picky about who works on my bike and what products I buy. After some careful dialog, I decided to go tubeless (first time ever) and they had no problem with me coming in back to watch them work on my bike. Not because I didn’t trust them, but because I wanted to see and learn. That was on June 18th . . . and now it’s three months later and I’m still thrilled with the job they did. Just found all the pics on my phone and realized I hadn’t done this review! Hope this helps some future cyclist . . . this was/is a great sports / outdoor shop, highly recommend without hesitation.

Got my first snowboard, and gear today to learn this season. The guys in the snowboard section were super helpful today. Helped me find the right boots, board and bindings, a helmet and goggles today. I appreciate you, cant wait to learn this season!

Massive shout out to Thomas, Melissa, Rico, and Shawn: Just bought my first ever high-end bike (well, definitely high for me) - a Cervelo Aspero. Sport Systems was recommended to me by a friend and I’m super glad he did. The four people named above went way above and beyond in helping me get started. They explained a lot of things I was new to, helped me find the right fit and perfect bike for me, helped me with the price, helped me pick the right safety options, and helped me install the exact tires I wanted. The team was really patient, kind, and understanding. I will definitely be returning for all my newfound bicycling needs, and I will be recommending them to anyone who needs bike stuff. Easily my favorite bike shop in the city. Highly recommend

Thank you, Melissa! I’ve been in Sports Systems many times over the years, mainly to buy little things. I used to run (many years ago) and now I’m getting into biking. This was my first time buying a higher end bike and I didn’t have any idea what I was doing. Melissa was very helpful and giving guidance on what to look for, how my body felt and I am very happy with my new bike!

Great experience today working with Dick Taylor, Sales Specialist. I would never have expected the level of knowledge and professionalism he provided as I navigated my choices for downhill ski gear. Dick took his time, evaluated my needs, and carefully explained my options as he sprinkled in useful advice. I am very pleased and have all my gear for the season. Just need snow!

I am a newer skier and purchased some used skis/poles/boots at Sports Systems. I had a great experience here and everyone was super kind and helpful. Zach took the time to make sure I got the boots and skis that worked best for me, and I did not feel rushed at all. Shawn was super helpful making sure I got the correct poles and then walking me through the checkout and over to the ski shop so I could get everything adjusted. Shawn was super friendly and made sure I had all my questions answered, I never felt lost or confused. Would definitely recommend going here!

I had an incredible experience at Sport Systems! When I was shopping for ski gear for my grandson (who was 3 at the time), Dick Taylor took the time to make sure everything was the right size (boots, skis, goggles, and helmet). We trade in the equipment (boots and skis) when we need to upgrade or resize. This has made all the difference when we’re on the slopes. Knowing that my grandson (who’s now 7) is properly fitted and comfortable makes for a great skiing experience. Dick Taylor still does the sizing, and we just added snowboarding equipment for this year’s snow adventures. It’s a real pleasure dealing with a company that provides such great services and keeps people like Dick Taylor who make sure customers feel confident in their choices and can enjoy whatever sport they’re into.
