I researched solar systems for months comparing different technical aspects of all involved equipment. I watched YouTube videos, read reviews, read install/technical manuals and talked with anyone that knew anything about solar. I then started requesting bids from contractors for their recommendations on equipment/install location/cabling runs. Of course, I received a wide array of responses from companies all over the area. A couple actually came out, one did a "zoom" call and one just did a quick initial bid over email while wanting $500 to come out to do a site survey to go any further. That last company was out of the running immediately! The only one that actually listened to my thoughts/concerns was New Hope Solar. Our solar system has been installed for a few days so only time will really tell how the equipment holds up. I just know the Sol-Ark 15K was the inverter I was leaning towards after all the research and New Hope Solar is a gold star installer. They deserve the gold star in my opinion after working with Pete during the whole process, from start to finish. We have the Sol-Ark 15K inverter, 32 Qcell panels, seasonably adjusted Sinclair ground mount and 30Kw of EG4-LL rack mounted batteries. This system handles our whole, fully electric house without any problems. I am not sure what else I can say to make this a more "glowing" review! After several months of reviewing many of the inverters on the market and watching countless hours of YouTube it became clear to me that Sol-Ark was the choice for me. I called up the support team to just some basic questions as I was a total noob to the solar game. The were both quick to answer the phone but eager to help me with everything I wanted to know. They did not team me like an idiot who was asking dumb questions, instead they genuinely walked me through each of them and not only gave me an answer but explained why they thought it was the right answer for my situation. My Wife and I built EVERYTHING ourselves, a 17,300w Ground Mount Array from Iron Ridge (Another fantastic company BTW) out in our field, wired up 6 SOK Batteries, and the 2 Sol-Ark 15K units. When it came time to power it up for the first time on a Saturday... Sol-Ark team was there to answer my call, they helped me update to the latest firmware, program all the settings over the phone, even helped debug a few tweaks we had to make. Just AMAZING People, who love the company they work for, and it shows in their attitudes and eagerness to help. I could go on and on, but suffice to say I made the RIGHT DECISION going with Sol-Ark. The system has been up and running for 5 days now and we could not me more pleased with the ease of DIY installation, performance of the 15K's and peace in knowing that a fantastic company that stand behind its products is just a call away should I ever need them. Amazing Tech Support. I had some issues with my solar system because it would stop operating during peak energy production, simply shutting down with an F08_GFDI_Relay_Failure error. I consulted the Sol-Ark Support team, and within minutes they explained that the error could be due to an improperly connected ground. I checked and repaired this connection, and the problem was resolved — it hasn’t failed again since.

Easy as Pie! and very cost effective! I Recently install a sol-ark 8k at my friends home and we found the installation process simple and much less complicated then trying to install a traditional inverter with a separate solar controller. Note I am not a solar installer nor do i profess to being and a solar expert. I am only a process research chemist with a technical back ground. My friend asked for my help and this time I took the my time and did a significant amount of research and helped him select a cost and energy efficient system. Once we setup the two series of 9 panel, each string running a total of 330 volts and 9 amp (this is called high voltage system, low amps). Just after the each string i placed and an inline 15 amp 600v fuse on the positive line, and brought each string down to the sol-ark 8k using 10 awg cable a pleasent surprise. That's it no combiner box with breaker and no heavy gauge wire to controller. This alone was a time and cost saver. Wired up the load, Grid and solar to the sol-ark, which was "easy a pie" and i was ready to go. Place the battery online, first charging up the capacitor as per instruction manual and then connecting the battery. Turn the unit on, programmed my battery info on a very nice touchscreen display, used the default off grid setup and i was running the house on a 48v 520 ah battery bank. Once i had it running off the batteries, turned on the solar panels (already late in the day) and installed the app on my android phone as described in the manual. I setup the account, and send Sol-ark a message about our newly created phone app and PC account and in a few hours i clicked my phone and i was monitoring the sol-ark on phone app and online. No communication, combo box or any other add-on to buy. This is great, now i had a way of making sure all is running well and i did not have to be there. Ten days later i called Sol-ark and they assisted me in programming the sol-ark with the grid for use as a third source of power, just in case there is no solar and the 25 kw of Lifepo4 batteries were low, the grid would kick in and partially charge the batteries to a programmed 50%. This is a very nice Hybrid inverter, I should have done my homework 2 years back when installing my solar system at home using the traditional transformer inverter with the extra cost of a separate solar controller (low voltage system, high amps), lot's of heavy cable (4 awg), installed from the solar panel combiner box, no communication software and very little flexibility with this inverter. Worst yet i spend almost as much as my friend did on his sol-ark 8k. All these little add on's is what actually make the Sol-ark 8k cost effective and easy to install, and i have not even mentioned my transformer base system draws 200 watts/hr or 5 kw/day, which makes the sol-ark energy efficient as well. Well, no point in crying over spilled milk, a lesson learned.

After, a full year working with other hybrid inverters, we shifted to Sol-Ark. My staff could not be more pleased; the first five systems were installed and operational on the first day. We have standardized on the 12kW units for all our battery-ready projects. Sunnycalsolar.com

Finished installing a Sol-Ark 12k with 6.5k Solar Array to get started. The support received by Sol-Ark is incredible. They call you back and really care! I am surprised how many kilowatt’s it produces and how well the batteries help with the grid peak-shaving.

Our Sol-ark is fantastic! Just got it a few weeks ago and so far so good! The company is very responsive and communicative. They have so many great resources and videos for educational purposes. The electricians and solar installers have been saying such wonderful things about the system. We have the 15k inverter with 20 480w panels and 2 4kwh batteries. The transfer over to batteries happens almost instantly. Looking forward to waiting out storms with our Sol-ark.
