I just purchased a beautiful Airstream through Airstream of Des Moines/Blue Compass. I am generally not a fan of large dealerships but they worked hard to change my mind. Airstream Andy was a great salesman. Good communication via text before I went in and I walked in knowing exactly which unit I was looking at. Even still, Andy took us around and showed us every other potential model that could have worked for us to make sure we were confident in our decision. The sales process went as smoothly as it possibly could. Finance guy, RJ, took over and the paperwork was painless. Technician Marvin prepped our Airstream and gave us a perfect PDI walkthrough. We drove away very knowledgeable on our new Airstream. Hi highly recommend these guys for anyone looking for a new Airstream.

We bought a 2 yr old Electra Accolade in August. We brought it home Saturday afternoon, and soon after found out the generator and solar panels weren’t working. The strut on the camper door fell off when we were looking at it, they said they fixed that. It fell off at home as soon as we opened the door. My husband called service Monday and they told him they were 3 weeks out for service. Now we bought the warranty, and thought they would bring it back in right away since they sent it out not working. I went in the next day and shared my frustration with them. They said to bring it that night and they would give us a different service advisor. He was great. Said he had an opening the following Tuesday. We didn’t hear from them for two weeks, my husband called and they gave him the service manager. She told him one story and when I went in she told me another story. We are very frustrated. My husband finally got an appt with the tech. He was great, kept my husband in the loop and we brought it home last weekend. Everything fixed ……… not. Bed is up when slide is in, lays down when slide is down. The bed won’t lay down. My husband is looking at it to see if he can figure it out. We will not recommend anyone to your store. Your service office if pathetic. Zero communication. I must add that the sales team and financing were great.

We bought our camper from here and are extremely grateful for Andro, Aj, Ted, & Kelly for their outstanding help. They're very professional and welcoming. Nothing but nice things to say. They were all so helpful and we just want to show appreciation for them. Also if you're reading this looking for a great camper give Andro & Aj a visit at blue compass. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Absolutely the best RV buying experience we've ever had, 6th times a charm. Emailed an inquiry on a Sunday fully expecting to wait until Monday. Nope. Jacob called me and answered my questions, got the ball rolling same day. Whenever I had an issue or needed something he was always quick to respond and just very helpful through the process. We worked with Roscoe in finance who got everything done and approved before we stepped foot in the dealership. He met with us the morning of pickup and filled the downtime getting paperwork done. Patrick in parts and service knocked it out the park with getting the equipment we needed there and installed prior to arrival. Then when we needed more done he was on it. Hats off to the guys and gal who actually do the work, Trent,Lori and Dave (maybe Dan) and the guy who's name I didn't get doing the paint protection. All could not have been more helpful and friendly. Went above and beyond helping with furniture and my beast of a mattress. Trent gave us the best walk through weave ever had. Cannot recommend these guys enough.

Update! We had to return back to this location due to significant sway in our trailer. We had made it 70 miles before making the decision to turn back. I called the location and spoke with Phil about the issue and let him know we needed to return. Heath and Ronsson stayed 2 1/2 hours after the service department closed to ensure they fixed the issue. At this point we decided to stay in Altoona for the night. We jumped on the freeway to test the sway in the trailer which was perfectly resolved! We immediately got a call from Phil indicating that Heath and Ronsson watched us drive across the highway and noticed some jumping from the ball and asked us to return the next morning to be inspected. This team had our safety at the front of their minds and really proved that kindness and good is still out there! I will be forever grateful for walking into this location to have them inspect our hitch. This is hands down the best customer service I've ever received. We had to stop here after a 1200 mile drive due to unsafe driving conditions with an under weight rated stabilizer hitch that was sold to us when we purchased from Bish's RV. This team was amazing. The help we received from Phil, Heath, and Michael was next to none. They got us upgraded to an Equalizer hitch properly rated for our trailer on a whim.

Bought a used 2022 forest river ds fr3 class A motorhome 3/25. Took back 4/25 for multiple issues that were supposed to be addressed prior to purchase. We purchased the extended warranty around $10,000 extra for peace of mind. Finally received back 6/25. They address 4 main issues in that time. 1. New stove because they tried putting a junk stove in prior to purchase. New stove is in, but they scratched and gouged up the cabinets in process. Still didn’t replace all parts with new on cook top. 2. Bunk over driver seat not staying up. Still not staying up. Will have to adjust myself. And now the front window shade gets stuck half way down. 3. Leveling system. They did fix it. But made sure to leave covers off in the bottom of coach. 4. New speakers in living room. They did fix that. But left the mess. There is still multiple issues still needed fixed. But I gave up. I just wanted it back. I’m just going to take to it to a different dealer. They left my $90,000 coach a complete mess. Never cleaned anything. Customer service and communication was horrible. I admit this was my first class A I have ever bought. Definitely over looked a lot. And was sold that they would go through and check everything over. This has been the worst experience I have ever had. I run a concrete company with 30 employees and have over 50 pieces of equipment and vehicles all from skid loaders to Mack trucks. Never in my 30 years of the doing business have I had to deal with people this unprofessional. My name is Corey Banes in Cedar Rapids, IA. feel free to reach out to me.
