Flying J Travel Center

Lets start with the good. This Flying J has LOTS of truck parking, easy spots to get into. The bathrooms have the cherry flavored gritty hand soap. Leaves your hands smelling and feeling great. Lots of hot food and fresh cold sandwiches. Fresh fruit, truck gear and accessories, jackets, hats, socks, toys, large lounge with slot machines, large laundry room, copy/fax machine, coffee and drink station, beer and wine coolers, plenty of pumps for trucks, friendly staff, and even a Dennys inside the store. Now the bad. Tha bathrooms were a mess, toilet paper everywhere. The floors were a messy, paper towels all over the sink, tea and other drink machines empty, some of the hot food looked like it was sitting for too long (not the pizza that looked good), and the parking lot could use a cleaning. Overall this stop was not bad. I didnt shower here but I peeked inside an open shower that wasnt cleaned, and it didn't look bad. Shower looked roomy and no buildup. I wouldn't mind staying overnight here if I had to.

It’s okay. A quick stop travel center for bathroom, gas, snacks. It has a Denny’s attached to it, everything you’d need for a car brake down, and a nice outside space to rest or eat your food. Not a lot of grassy area for dogs, but enough to potty.

This review is just for laundry room (I needed but couldn't use) and the shower room I used. Hopefully this location is on the list for remodel soon.

It was midnight, and I had a headlight out, so I pulled over here and picked up a new lightbulb. It was a little expensive, but you know, it's a truck stop and it's open around the clock, unlike Walmart, which took advantage of the pandemic and stopped their 24/7 hours. P. S. I love their Sumatra coffee!

Managed sucks. Absolutely no reason why these showrs are so dirty. Protocol is not being enforced.

Not well kept at all! Only pro I can say is that the employees were friendly. Cons: this place is not well kept, and is in desperate need of remodel! Shower had mold, & mildew, on the walls & grout, enough dust on the door vent to plow it and plant crops, and the door itself is warped from too much moisture.

This flying J has gone way down over the last year. Management needs to step up and do something about this place. Showers are filthy and disgusting. Flies flying everywhere inside the store. I was very disappointed. Truck drivers you don't wanna stop here for more than just fuel.
