My daughters had some questions about setting up Priefert panels for their horses. Rob (the store manager) was very informative and told my daughters everything they needed to know and more! He offered to design a lean to for my daughters horses as well. Tyler delivered the panels and riding mower to our home this afternoon. He took care of everything, being careful with every piece as if it were his own. He was personable and respectful to our daughters and also made them feel included and appreciated. The employees we interacted with ( Alicia, Cody, Robb and Tyler) have all been amazing! Thanks for the best experience. We will definitely be back.

The Saturday before Easter I came to buy lumber. Pulled into the lumber yard and was told to stay in my truck and they would load it up on my trailer for me. Well they loaded the wood onto the tongue of my trailer. I couldn’t see that from my mirrors so when they came to my window and told me I was good to go and could pull out into the parking lot to strap it down. So I turned to pull out and the wood got trapped between my trailer ramp and truck bumper. They gave me an incident report to fill out and assured me that they take care of the damages quick when this happens (I guess it happens often). Well fast forward 3 months and they have blocked my number at the store and their insurance guy has informed his secretary to not patch me through. I went to two body shops in town to get quotes both were $5k+ with the damage only getting worse since the wood went through to the frame. So I would absolutely never do business again with this company full of shady characters!

I called today and an amazing lady Cassidy answered the phone. I was looking for bedding and it is not available there. Yet, she took the time to help me out in what is best for my needs, and even suggested where I could get it! It's just nice when you receive great customer service, going above and beyond to help a clueless customer as myself! Thanks Cassidy @ Homebase!!! You're the MVP!!!

I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience after witnessing something truly remarkable. I was recently at Sutherlands looking to purchase a swamp cooler. A female manager with brightly colored hair assisted me, and I was immediately struck by her level of knowledge and willingness to go above and beyond. Not only was she incredibly helpful in guiding me through the options she even offered to help load the unit into my vehicle—despite being quite petite herself! What truly stood out, though, was how she handled a situation that could have rattled anyone. While she was assisting me, a large adult male began yelling and threatening her with bodily harm. I was both shocked and ashamed to witness someone act so aggressively toward another human being, especially someone who was simply doing her job. And yet, through it all, she remained calm, composed, and professional. She never raised her voice, never lost her cool—just handled the situation with grace and strength. This woman deserves recognition for her resilience and exceptional customer service. People like her are rare, and she left a lasting impression on me. Kudos to her and to the company for having someone like that employed at this store.

We visited Sutherland’s over the weekend to look at some panels for our daughter’s horses. We had the pleasure of meeting Alicia and Cody. Cody shared information with us about the zero turn riding mowers and explained the different engines each comes with. Then we went inside and met Alicia. Alicia helped our daughters with selecting the panels they wanted. We appreciated the fact that she included our daughters in the conversation and paid attention to what they were looking for. We ended up purchasing the panels and a "Bad Boy" zero turn mower. Delivery is scheduled for Tuesday. We can’t wait to get to work! A huge thank you to Alicia and Cody!! We appreciate all your help!

I purchased a large flower pot for my yard, which by the way, I love. When I purchased it, they offered free delivery in town. So I made arrangements for it to be delivered on Friday in the AM, my ONLY day off. Now I was told the delivery man gets up Early and gets started. I got up at 7:30am to wait on his arrival. 11am came, no delivery man. I called the store. The man said, he told him I was waiting. I called the store again to cancel my delivery, because by now it's 12:50PM! I have errands to run & things to do, because again, it's my ONLY day off. The delivery driver calls, and tells me he had just gassed up, and was 15 minutes away. Well I guess he got gas in Lubbock, because I'm not understanding why I had an AM delivery, and now it's PM. He finally showed up; my flower pot was delivered; I said nothing to this idiot. I love Sutherlands, but I highly recommend don't use the delivery service, unless you have all day to wait. I could have had my flower pot the next day in my yard after purchase, but they offered this free delivery. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Sometimes free comes with incompetence & inconvenience. I'm just saying. I won't do THAT again.

Don't buy anything here that looks used, even if they give you a discount for it. If you try to return it the next day because it doesn't fit your needs they'll accuse you of "using the crap out of it", and give you looks through the return process, even if you tell them the truth that it looked like that the day before when you bought it. I say this while having an otherwise great experience at this store.
