City of Anaheim Public Utilities

When I opened an account they requested a 260 dollars deposit, I paid all the bills they sent me, got a 30 dlls. deposit discount., after 3 visits in two months and beeing told don't go the hall no more because I supposed to get my money back through mail, I haven't got nothing yet, hope someone reading this would help get my bucks back.

Este lunes pase a pagar la luz, y la persona que me atendio ni por cortecia hizo contacto visual conmigo o tal vez es un robot y yo estoy imaginando cosas, yo creo si no tienen caracter para atender a la gente no deberian estar en ese puesto!

I've never had a reason to call or speak in person with A.P.U. customer service employee. But to go over these 1 star reviews is an embarrassment at least in my opinion. Considering I'm a life time resident of Anaheim. I despise rude disrespectful and offensive people. So on behalf of our A.P.U. customer service fuchi face employees. My sincerst apologies. Your fellow Anaheim resident

RUDE poor customer service and expensive. They cut off my moms electricity not due to a lack of payment. They took the payment out completely it’s always paid on time. Her ex husband of 10 years decided he didn’t want to be on the bill even though he didn’t pay the bill for over 20 years but okay go off city of Anaheim reps. It’s a civil matter even they are both on the bill. They gave no notice with the home having 2 children under the age of 2. My mom spoke to reps on Friday who told her she would receive a call in 72 hours. Nope they just cut her electricity

Hands down the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. It's my first time in Anaheim. The building I am moving into requires an account to get my keys to move in. APU keeps telling to email the lease, which I've done twice. Then I sit on hold for 30 - 40 minutes at a time to have some angry person on the line tell me to call back. Terrible.

This is ridiculous! I have been calling, emailing, even visited in person since June 1st. I have spoken to over 5 people who keeps taking messages and making notes, and no one ever calls back I always call back to check on the status. The previous tenants left a huge balance, THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME, you guys have their info YOU go find them. It’s almost as if they want me to do their job. I have shown them proof of my lease, my drivers license in person and still no account. This is the most unprofessional service expected from a utility company.

I want to thank you guys for nonstop working to provide us fantastic service. You guys do amazing job. It was last minute call but you guys still accommodate me. Fast reliable service and customer care satisfaction. To those people inside the office from janitor to the highest rank THANK YOU!!! To those people who are in field working hard rain or shine THANK YOU!!! Without it everything is not possible for us.
