Sourdough Transfer

For a military move, was a great experience, until it came time to settle a claim. You will end up going back and forth with them as if they need to hold on to every penny possible, and will have no integrity for the settlement. Unfortunate, since before that we had a great interaction with everyone in the process.

I know these guys have a tough job and I appreciate them for packing up my house, but I have one major gripe. They took things apart and scattered the pieces into different boxes. The coffee pot isn’t with the coffee maker and now we can’t find the coffee pot. An over the sink dish rack was separated into THREE different boxes and now we can’t find two pieces of it. The lid to the blender was in a different box than the blender, but luckily we found that. Those are just a few examples. Why would you do this? All of these things were together and ready to be packed. Now we’re in our new house and having trouble putting things back together. Sourdough, if you’re reading this, please train your people to keep all the pieces of things together.

They came out to move me from anchorage to Wisconsin. I believe they are by far the best moving company! Everyone was extremely professional, very kind especially to my pets. If i could use this company again I would. 100/10 Thank you for all the help Sourdough Transfer!!

We had Sourdough Transfer come and pack us out for our move from Fairbanks to Maine. The guys were courteous, efficient and professional. Moving is a bit of a stressor, and they were so nice about taking care of our house, our dogs and packing our things for the move. Thank you!!!!

I’ve have plenty of moves in 16 years and I must say Sourdough was one of the best when it came to delivering my items! I was able to get my household from the Port to my house in less than 3 days from arrival. The crew who delivered our items were courteous and attentive! They pointed out damages before I even saw them and I definitely appreciated it. Only giving 4 stars because my bed slats were put on the wrong way and they forgot to put together 2 items. Other than that they were great and didn’t mind my dogs being out!

This is the best place to weigh your vehicle on a CAT scale if you're shipping your vehicle. Because they only charge about $20 to both weigh it empty and loaded. Other places charge around $30 for each weigh.

We moved from Oklahoma to Alaska and sourdough transfer was the company that helped with unpacking our stuff and setting up our furniture! They also reweighed our things after being asked because the guys from Oklahoma tried to make some extra money. The movers in Oklahoma did a horrible job while the guys from sourdough transfer did amazing! They were fast, professional, clean and fun to work with. They also dealt with all of my swearing super well! I would definitely recommend them. Plus they had no problems rebuilding our furniture although the guys from Oklahoma did not pack any instructions and parts were all over, not just in the parts box. A big plus was that they put carpet protector down everywhere, something we had never seen during all our other moves with the military.
