The lady working the register near the self-service check out stations is extremely aggressive with her attempts to upsell to a some kind of paid membership. This morning I listened very patiently to her long sales pitch and then politely declined. She ignored and attempted to upsell again. I said no again. She still would not take no for an answer and kept pushing. She's taking it too far and no respecting what the customers tell her (clearly gets a some kind of bonus tied to this). Avoid her and use self checkout.

You cannot speak to a human, so have to leave a message. In the past they did collect and act on messages, but for the last two times I needed to leave a message no one seemed to collect it and certainly never acted on it…when I went in it was clear they had no idea what I was talking about. Although the date of birth and prescription number are in the system, if I try to use them for automated service, it says they are not found. So the only option is to go in person to request refills. Need to go to mail order with the insurance to avoid CVS.

My personal experience with this CVS is really focused on the pharmacy department since that’s the main reason I go to CVS. I think the service is excellent even in this pandemic world we live in. Staff are friendly and quick to provide me with my prescriptions. One time my prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy and the pharmacist quickly resolved my issue and filled it for me in minutes. I like the convenience of the location and the great staff.

A lady was purchasing medicine ,while she purchased she asked if she wanted to sign up but she kindly said no and then proceeds to ask for her id she went to go grab her id in the car while she’s doing that a guy next in line purchases medicine but she was quick to not ask ID when he agrees to sign up for rewards program . The cashier is unprofessional and picks and chooses who to ID people . I will be calling the manager.

The two male pharmacists I’ve encountered here are arrogant and provide incorrect information. One confidently told me and my wife that CVS cannot accept her foreign passport as ID for controlled prescriptions because of DEA regulations and state law. I protested that there were no such laws. After calling the customer support line, I was told this was simply CVS policy because their handheld scanners can only scan a few kinds of ID, but that some pharmacies accept other kinds of ID. So, the pharmacist was wrong about Virginia laws and DEA regulations prohibiting the acceptance of foreign IDs. Another proposed to check to see whether a voucher had been applied by comparing the price I paid last time (with the voucher) to the price I paid this time. When the price turned out to be different—suggesting the voucher had not been applied this time—he spoke in a patronizing way and told me that I should simply trust him because "I’m a pharmacist." I protested and after a heated exchange he finally looked at the BIN and Group numbers on my voucher to confirm it had been applied. Why didn’t he just do that in the first place — I had asked if they could do that — instead of telling me to just trust him that the price increase was not being caused by the voucher failing to be applied?

Very friendly staff who are exceptionally helpful and a larger store with an upstairs section for all you need. The sign posting could be a bit better as you have to generalize on what is there.

The restroom has been out of service for a few weeks now!? Are you going to fix it?? I will not be buying anything at this CVS store until the restroom has been fixed!
