Dancing Queen

I love that this store right downstairs from where I live. But the people who work there are as bad as the people in a walmart. Lazy and unhelpful. They need to hire more happy people, my ghosh. There are some girls as cashiers that dont even smile, guys on the floor that dont wana help. Whoever is hiring these people doesnt know wat hes doing. I applied here and he never hired me, i guarantee you i would have been way better than miserable looking people. The only helpful one is the guy daniel in seafood. But many of the woman are just lazy and awful. Especially the cashiers! I gave 3 stars because I like the store, just not the workers.

This store is great for those trying to grocery shop without a car - by walking, biking, or taking public transit. Biking: There are a bunch of standard "staple" bike racks on the 9th St sidewalk, convenient to the front door. There are also several covered bike racks inside the parking garage, accessible by going down the pedestrian ramp and then turning right into the garage across from the grocery store's front door. 9th St is a designated bike boulevard, and the surrounding neighborhood streets in Penrose are generally quiet and safe as well. The bikeshare station, while not as convenient as it used to be, is still less than 2 blocks away. Walking: The front entrance is easily-accessible and doesn't require walking across a parking lot. The sidewalks in the area are generally in good shape, and you can easily cross Columbia Pike at Barton Street. Transit: Sadly there's no bus shelter or bench at Columbia Pike and Barton bus stop, though eventually this stop should get a Transit Station, and the 16M comes every 8 minutes! Our favorite part of shopping at Giant is the "Scan It!" technology that lets you scan your groceries as you go. This allows you to pack directly into your panniers (if biking) or your backpack (if walking) to make sure they're packed efficiently and to prevent buying more than you can reliably get home!

This is a giant near my neighborhood i go here for the most part for the same items. Sometimes i'll buy items that are on sale that otherwise would be too expensive. I bought 2 items that were tagged on sale but the price rung up not on sale. 2 different items 2 different brands same day. Not good. The manager looked up the sku and said its not the same product. I said look at the name and the sale sign both matched. I got the impression the items were marked at a sale discount on the shelf but not in the system in hopes that the customer will not notice or still take them at the point of sale. That is not a good way to do bussiness.

Good selection of vegetarian and natural foods wonderful pharmacy price is not quite as good as Wegmans but you know not. Every store is gonna be a 100% perfect even if it is quite excellent.

The Giant on Columbia Pike is the worst Giant ever. I pick up steak and it slimy and it smelled and the onion had mold on it. I stop going in there because quality of food is horrible. I would rather ride to another Giant and I live on Columbia Pike!

Dear Giant Food, we bought a hard salami of a Giant's brand today at Arlington 2501 9th Rd S location. It's our favorite store. And we used to buy Giant's brand salami, because it's our favorite one. It used to be fresh all the times we've bought it. But this time, it smells like it's expired. It smells awful! It's terrible! Though the date was July, 31st. Could you please clarify what's going on with my favorite store?

I love Giant Food Store, and this luttle store isn't bad I n a pinch. However, in early May, my sister and I made a quick stop to pick up snacks and salad fixjngs. we bought 2 bags of the little cute cucumbers. Bag number 2 had twobstrands of what was apparent short animal hair. Since the store was already closed when we found it and we were flying out early the next morning, I would definitely have taken it back, hair and àll, to the manager. We were so disappointed and grossed out. theire went our appetite, not to mention money.
