Mad Energy installed an EV charger in our garage. Communication was excellent, we were kept informed throughout the entire process. Trinity and Dickson were both very helpful in assisting with the documents and installation. The charger installation was smooth and seamless. We couldn't be happier with Mad Energy and will not hesitate to recommend them to our friends and associates!

My wife bought a new EV Charger for her new Tesla SUV but need someone to install it for our home. She searched the lists and found MAD Energy NW through PSE website to install the EV charger for us. Brandon, our installer, told us our electrical panel was old and small… 45 years old! It was time to replace the outdated panel with a new 200 amp panel. Last summer, my husband and I set out to compare eight different solar installers. What we found was a mix of companies that were more interested in closing a quick sale than truly educating their customers. Many of them refused to take the time to explain how many panels the roof can set up for the ROI return in 10 yrs, the steps of the installation process, or the often‑complex HOA requirements that are so critical to get approval for the installation. From the very first visit, Brad took a hands‑on approach: he studied our energy bills, and patiently answered every question we had, whether we asked in person, by text, or over the phone. His thorough explanations helped us understand exactly how many panels would work for us and how it would impact our monthly costs. Importantly, the price point was fair, neither the cheapest nor the most expensive option on the market. The biggest challenge we faced was our HOA. Their board had imposed additional, unclear restrictions that weren’t even part of the official charter. Brad produced detailed drawings, cited city regulations, and sent comprehensive emails to the HOA board, effectively educating them about the project’s compliance. Thanks to his persistence and expertise, the board eventually approved our installation. The actual installation proceeded smoothly and without any surprises.

I had Mike from MAD Energy NW stop by my home to assess my electrical needs as well as make sure I was ready for using a backup generator. He was thorough and professional. He did not try to oversell me on things I did not need. I've actually had a chance to get to know Mike and his business beyond that of a potential customer. They are thoroughly organized and customer centric. I would recommend MAD Energy NW before any other electrical contractor.

The MAD Energy team are true professionals. Mike discovered an issue with the brand new panel we had installed after a remodel, which was causing our furnace to trip every time we used generator power. He spent a couple hours troubleshooting the issue, sent a proposal for the fix, and got the job scheduled within a couple weeks of accepting the proposal. They also sent recommendations for a new generator that would be more compatible with our setup. Thanks to MAD Energy, we now have heat when the power goes out!

Mad Energy installed an EV charger for us. Since our main panel was full they also installed an auxiliary circuit box. AJ and Mike did a great job. Very professional, on time, completed the job in the time they said - just a real pleasure to work with. The communication with Mike and Hailey in the office was fast and accurate. I will definitely use Mad Energy for any future electrical needs.

Got a solar array and Tesla PowerWall installed by MadEnergy. We’re so happy with the end result!
