This has been the worst moving experience I’ve had in my 12 years of active-duty service with the U.S. Army. The movers were booked through the military’s system, and yet when an entire crate of my belongings went missing, the only direction I was given was to "file a claim." No real accountability. No sense of urgency. No help. I now have mattresses on the floor because both sets of queen bed side rails are gone. My child’s crib side rails are also missing. Every room in my home is incomplete no full bedroom sets, missing living room furniture, and even basic essentials like curtain rods and lamps are gone. These are just the items I’ve confirmed missing so far and I’m still unpacking: • Black 3-leg lamp • Side rails for two queen beds (4 pieces) • Side rails for crib • Couch • Nickel lamp • Black lamp leg • Two bars for L-shaped desk • My child’s kitchen stool • Two tanks (clean/dirty) for a carpet shampooer • Motor to a small vacuum • Metal Laundry basket • ALL curtain rods and curtains • Three dining room chairs • Google Home Mini • Bread box • Foot rest to my gliding chair This is more than just an inconvenience it’s a major loss of personal property, comfort, and peace of mind. These are things my family and I use every day. Items that can’t be easily replaced as I would need to buy all new bed frames, a new living room set, and dining room set because I have one chair. No one seems to care enough to take responsibility. I’m beyond disappointed. I expected better from a company entrusted with the relocation of military families. If you’re a service member or anyone considering this company please think twice. Document everything and prepare for the worst.
This was my first time using a professional moving company, and I had a fantastic experience moving from Colorado to North Carolina. The process was seamless from start to finish. Getting a quote and scheduling was easy, and the pricing was competitive. The moving coordinator, Heather, kept in constant communication, which gave me peace of mind throughout. Both the pickup and delivery crews were punctual, friendly, and efficient. They ensured open communication at every step, and my belongings arrived within the 7-10 day window they promised. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service, and I’d recommend this company to anyone planning a long-distance move.
I initially placed a 1 star review after half our stuff arrived late (in overflow a week after the first shipment, 3 weeks after initial loading). I felt bad and deleted the review after our things arrived a day later but now that everything is here the 1 star stands. We have many broken/missing items. The railing of my crib was literally snapped in half. We are missing about $5,000 worth of handwoven rugs and other items. Knowing this company despite the "better" insurance, we probably won't be re-imbursed although I just prefer for our belongings to be returned to us. Not to mention the packing was atrocious. A single box labeled "shoes" contained a computer monitor, baby clothes, kitchen supplies, diapers etc. Most boxes were quite random and barely had what they were labeled for. I'm sure the careless packing had much to do with the broken/missing items.
I had an incident where I had missing property that could be tracked by GPS (last seen in a place I’ve never been immediately after the movers came to pack up my stuff) and filed a police report. Was told multiple times I’d be contacted by management, who were copied on an email saying to contact me. Still never heard from anyone and nothing was ever done. When I initially was trying to figure out the names of the movers from the company to file the police report, my contact with the company didn’t know who they sent out to pack up my stuff and took up to 3 days to figure out who they sent to my house. In the initial few days, I’d call constantly to get answers or things sorted and I’d always get an email response and hardly talked to my coordinator over the phone. Do not recommend. Lastly, had some damage on my new box spring and will have to file claim now. More stress to move then I wanted to deal with. Stuff made it on the last day of the contract. However, the coordinator didn’t even know that the company they contracted with in my new city was closed on a holiday. Just shows they didn’t do their research throughly and are not the most competent.
We had a wonderful experience for our move. I was genuinely surprised how easy everything was. Both teams of movers were extremely professional, kind, and efficient. Our coordinators, James and Ellen, were super easy to work with and communicative. If we need to move across the country again, we will definitely work with them again.
The most amazing warehouse i seen..great people if I could have given them 10 stars I will on the app..thank everyone who help use in the warehouse when we was unloading ..
I had a complicated international move (USA to Canada) and the team at Buehler was exceptional. I am so thankful I chose them. Their price was not the cheapest but it was competitive and their service exceeded all expectations. What is most important to me is that we had a miscommunication that impacted my price and I was initially very upset, however the team took time to acknowledge my complaint and responded professionally. In the end they corrected the issue without me having to fight or argue. They absolutely could have hidden behind a contract that I had signed and disregard my misunderstanding of some of the terms, but at no point did they ever do this. Heather and Sam were clearly concerned first-and-foremost with my satisfaction and quickly agreed to a fair resolution that I was happy with. It is easy to earn 5-stars when everything goes smoothly, but I am giving them 5 stars because I had an issue that could have just as easily happened with any other carrier and the Buehler Team handled it with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Very satisfied and highly recommend.
