This has been a very disheartening experience with excel. After Excel increased my bill, I decided to go ahead and try to pay my bill ahead of time so it's less of an issue, I still had auto pay set up. Paying your bill ahead of time does not affect the auto pay, I was double billed, it cost me an overdraft charge on my checking account, when I called in to get help and get that money refunded back into my checking account the lady that I spoke with on customer service couldn't even see my information, she was working from home had her dogs barking in the background, and stated that all she could do was mail me a check to refund the money, that doesn't help me with my overdraft charge on my checking account. So I hung up and called back to try to speak with someone else, I spoke with a guy in the rebate division and for some reason he was able to see all of my information. But he also stated that he was unable to help me with my issue of being double-billed. I paid ahead of time, I still got charged for my auto pay, but for some reason both payments are different they're not even the same payment. It's really confusing, an extreme burden, costing me more money beyond my increased bill!! A massive Financial strain turning a $70 payment into $100!! Extremely poor customer service!! Nobody is able to help you!! The worst thing you can ever do is pay your bill ahead of time. Don't ever do that! There will be zero remorse from the customer service agents they won't be apologetic at all and they won't be helpful at all. Extremely poor customer service from excel. Taking money from my checking account and unable to put the money back where they took it from! Mailing me a check in the mail that will take multiple days for me to receive and then I also have to take time out of my work day to go deposit that money back into my account to try to cover that overdraft charge that you guys caused me! I've never been so disappointed in my power company before. And I watched the power companies in Hawaii legitimately start fires from negligence.

Not only is this monopoly utilizing AI which uses so much power and water, but they have raised their prices to a ridiculous high, $276 for a three bedroom apartment???? Never in my life have I had this high a bill and it only keeps getting bigger even though my electricity use is the same!!! And when asking about a rate change due to AI usage, the representative put me on hold, said there was a change and hung up on me! Denver, get someone else to supply my electricity!!

We called customer service to get basic information to log in. We had gotten the initial message that the account information to log in would be sent and the email never came. When we finally called to get it, the customer help representative implied that it was our fault. I'd didnt appreciate the tone or the implication that we were the idiots when we weren't given basic information in the first place. We weren't rude when we called either so I don't know where the attitude came from. And yes we checked spam, no email. When it got sent in the end it went straight to the inbox.

All of the outage's this year has blew a fuse in my fridge... I don't understand why there has been so many outages but this is getting absolutely ridiculous. This is supposedly the best power company there is and it's a complete joke this last 6 months.

Constant price hikes, and we call to figure out your bill they just restate the bill to you over and over, as if you haven’t already looked at it. How is air conditioning cheaper by over $100 than heat? Especially when your thermostat is set to their recommendations. If you can move in to an area not serviced by them I would.
