Five Points Paint & Hardware

I didn’t choose the hardware life; the hardware life chose me. Walked in as a civilian. Walked out wielding a saw like Thor and convinced I could rebuild civilization from scratch if needed. Staff cheered silently, probably proud.

Had a wide selection of tools and products. Staff were friendly and attentive. Only downsides being slight disorganization and inconsistent pricing.

Beautiful hardware store only thing is the owner really won't let you look around really seems perturbed by anyone who comes in he needs to retire and hire a manager to run the business go and spend the rest of his life enjoying your grandkids but if you're looking for it you'll probably find it here

I love a local hardware store, but these old men are rude and condescending. I'll never come back here

I recently had the displeasure of visiting Five Points Paint & Hardware. The store is poorly organized, making it nearly impossible to find anything without spending an excessive amount of time searching. When I finally asked an employee for help, I was met with rudeness and complete indifference. Many of the items appear to be old and outdated…plus the prices are outrageously high. But what really stands out is that customer service is non-existent. All of the employees are unfriendly and unprofessional. My overall experience was so unpleasant that I left without purchasing anything, vowing never to return. If you’re looking for a hardware store that values its customers and offers quality products, steer clear of Five Points Paint & Hardware. This place is a complete waste of time and money. I know it’s a staple around Five Points but am rooting that it’s replaced with a much needed grocery store. If you want to support a local hardware store, drive less than a mile to Little Hardware.

You can keep your Lowe’s and Home Depot, I will only be coming here from now on to get hardware. They have the biggest selection of older model items and the staff is so helpful. He knew exactly what I needed before I even said a word, just took a glance at the bag my old part was in. Got me all set up and walked me through what I needed to do when I got home step by step. I couldn’t be happier with my experience here today!!

Great place to go if you enjoy being treated like child. I kept going there for the past decade just for convenience if I needed a furnace filter or something, but I'm done. The older man with glasses (who I assume is the owner) is maybe the most condescending and rude person to whom I've ever willingly handed money, and I've been to NYC. If you are in a position where you are dealing with the public (and a returning customer, just to remind you) and you have nothing but the most bitter of dispositions, I'd recommend you take one of those sleds down the rest of that hill and park yourself at home in a lazyboy.
