Good Used Tires

Edit: tires already need replacing. I just wanted to post about my experience with "Good Used Tires" off Green Springs & say that at least two of those things are correct and it's not the Good part. I knew better but i had the kids and didn’t check the dates. I don’t want others to deal with it and get a blowout or stranded. Unfortunate, like most people money is crazy tight, I was replacing two very bald tires with what I could afford. I usually use Dales and have always been happy. I get the two tires after callin, $100, fair I guess? (Once I got home I saw Walmart had some brand new for about the same prob fees too Idk. ) I go to drive to a friends house nearby and there’s a gnarly wobble going on, I assume maybe out of balance or something. Pull in and checked the tires. ELEVEN YEARS FROM MANUFACTURE DATE for front right. The front left was 6 years after. For the record 6 is suggested expiration, some even say 5. 6-10 sometimes. BUT ELEVEN?! tell me how a business can put a tire manufactured in 2014, over a year past max expiration with KIDS INSIDE and be a good company? A TODDLER in a car seat? I understand there’s a level of trade for a used tire but there’s zero reason to sell that tire. I did call and complain, they told me to bring it back, which I had my ex do so I didn’t make a scene because i was so mad. They replaced it with ones that’s 5 years old so better maybe?, They even said the 11 yo one had a drive pattern on it Already and they still installed? They just happened to put that date facing to the inside so i had crawl under to recheck it. They did nothing about the expired 6 year one, then tried to blame the NEW wobble on the rear tires being dry rotted and needing to be replaced too. Which they a PROBABLY do need it but it wouldn’t just happen right after they put theirs on. I’d also like to point out it’s a tiny 195/60 R15. It’s not a suv tire or anything giant. I knew better because it’s even happened at Walmart before. Companies have to do better for people and others may not know to even check the dates when buying, esp companies like this that want to take advantage of single moms who they think don’t know about this stuff. There are TOO many used car places for certain ones to be playing these games. (Sorry about how dirty my rims are, i fractured my hand fainting last month and haven’t cleaned it up. I do all of my own car repairs ans such and it’s been delayed out.

Says they have used tires but when I call they always tell me they dont have used tires currently. Its not the first time I've called either for used tires on other vehicles. The times i been they have good customer service. I've gotten my tire patched there before and its quick and fast but I can't usually find used tires for my vehicles here. Also, if owner isn't happy with your review he will call you to argue with you which is extremely unprofessional.

Great service they actually honor the 30 day warranty!!! I had a issue with a tire an they gave me no problems showed the receipt an they changed it out...

The guy was knowledgeable and willing to find a solution that would help me out. Ended up get 4 tires at a great price and the service putting them on was amazing.

Sold me 2 tires with patches and leaks in them. Threw my receipt away and they won’t "honor the warranty" unless I have it. These guys aren’t honest and won’t help you when they screw you. Just go somewhere else.

This was my first ever great tire experience. I know that sounds cheesy, but I can't tell you how much I appreciated the service I got today. The owner was very kind and professional, he gave me a great price that included installation. I was prepared to wait for a long time, that's always been my experience. Not with this company. A crew came out and had my car lifted, tires snatched off, then maybe 10 minutes goes by and they came back with my pretty new tires. I was there for less than 20 minutes. I'm talking from the time I pulled up until the time I left. AMAZING SERVICE! I am a fan and will send everyone to this place. Thank you!! It should be noted that the parking lot had several vehicles getting service when I pulled up. They were still super fast and efficient!
