Camping World RV Sales

I am truly jealous of the customer service some of the other reviewers had. We purchased a used camper on 14 Feb, which they touted as fully checked out and sanitized. Had they really checked it out they would have found the black water sprayer blows water straight into the underbelly, that the chair they had secured against the wall had a broken leg and the black tank was anything but sanitized. To date, I have made 17 calls (yes, I log them) and have yet to have anyone return a call. When I finally call back I get the same story, the person who was handling your info no longer works here. I am not naming names, but this is four different individuals. I am still waiting on the return call from Virginia from my call on 22 Sep. Yes, we did a walkthrough, but who ever dreamed I needed to unbuckle the chair against the wall to find a broken leg. I also failed to test the shower curtain to find it wouldn't retract. The stabilizer switch that was identified and reported as fixed still doesn't work. They'll happily sell you an extended warranty, but you can't get them to return a call to schedule any maintenance. There is a happy ending to this story. We took it to Camping World in Tyler and received excellent service and we will never have to deal with the Shreveport office ever again.

Camping World Bossier City LA - I was interested in a camper that the Bossier City LA location and had a great experience with Georgia Thurman. She did a fantastic job in helping me get what I wanted and was great with keeping me informed along the way during the selection and purchase.

I’m sorry I have to write this, but just had an atrocious experience with the maintenance shop. We bought our camper here and honestly the experience was great, but we came back to use our extended warranty to cover a repair just 2 years after purchase. There was some grey area on whether it could be fixed so they tried to diagnose the problem, but informs me I have a premium warranty good for a lot and asks me to trust him. Next think I know Jesse Dodson is calling me cussing about how complicated it is to try and solve the multiple issues he found. He gets unprofessional and starts honestly acting like this is below him…like I’m the problem with the camper. He becomes impossible to reach and when he is caught, he tells me "I’ll get back to it in 48 hours" with no calls back. Almost a two weeks later he mails me a bill for 3k and is all about "warranties only cover maintenance." He's rude, short and pretends like it’s still below him and like he’s doing me a favor by hearing me out. Even worse he goes on a diagnosis hey-day looking for issues, and racks up a bill, nothing said to me. He finally tells me he wrote it up wrong in his database, and is worried about his reputation if he changes it because Keystone might find out and investigate?! He refuses to hear me out and claims I allowed it by saying nothing…even though he was impossible to reach. I’m probably going to cancel my warranty over this interaction and bring my camper to Tyler I guess. I can’t trust Camper World while he’s there.

Nice and clean beach for Louisiana. Be sure you can afford to get pulled out of the sand if you’re not ready. Soft approach to the beach but once you get there it’s ok.
