Batteries Plus

I signed up to receive text messages from Batteries Plus and I received a "Welcome" text reply with a promotion offer code to receive an 18% Discount on my first mobile order. I immediately attempted to place my mobile order and the promotion code was invalid. I contacted the Batteries Plus customer service department and was informed the promotion code (for the 18% Discount) would not work for the mobile order. I was informed I could use another promotion code for a smaller discount on my mobile order. It is so frustrating to be offered a "Welcome Promotion Offer" and then be informed the offer is invalid. This first experience with Batteries Plus mobile / online ordering was extremely disappointing. I will choose another retailer for my future battery purchases.

After researching what my battery needs were for my RV online, I wrote down the specific battery needs, and I was literally out the door in 5 minutes or less with my new battery carried out to my SUV for us! In addition, Quaid reminded us of possibly needing a larger battery box. 6 stars on service and product.

If you have a battery close to the end of the warranty, watch out. They will get it to take a charge and send you out the door. When you find out a few days later that it'sŏ still not holding a charge and you take it back, they say sorry, warranty is up, nothing we can do.

Went in for a battery we found on the website. Clerk was very rude and unhelpful and was rude to a customer on the phone as we came in. He didn’t seem to want to work at all. Then would not honor "buy online pickup in store" prices, tried to charge additional charges and then said he didn’t have change for $200 on a $150 purchase. Lost a good customer and our business from now on.

Great service. They were very friendly and got my cracked phone screen fixed in about 2 hours. The guy who help me was very honest about a couple of questions I had. One about getting my tablet repaired there and another about what type of screen protector is best for my phone which I really appreciate because not a lot of people will be honest when it comes to making a sell. I will definitely go back if need be and will recommend people to this store.

My order was in expensive and ready to pick up when I got there. I was greeted with a smile and treated with respect the whole time. When I looked around, I saw that they had a very large inventory of batteries and even headlights and tail lights. They even had a tiny watch battery. I need it for my pocket watch that I didn’t even know it was there until I got there. I will definitely return and buy more products from them.

Overall, I highly recommend Batteries Plus Bulbs. My friend, who's a mechanic, first recommended this place to me for a car battery many years ago, and I was very impressed with the quality; it lasted well over 6 years. My previous employer also used them (different location) to rebuild DeWalt 18v batteries for the shop, and we were always really happy with their work and the price. Today, I ordered a new car battery online for in-store pickup and free installation, which was great - no core charge and having to return with the old battery! It was ready almost immediately, the guy at the store was super nice (installed it in the cold rain while I waited in the store!), and it took maybe 10 minutes tops, even though the battery was in a difficult place under the hood. Price was super competitive with other auto parts stores. I will concur with other reviewers that yes, there is usually only one attendant at the store, so I could see having to wait around a while if the store suddenly became busy, which could be inconvenient for some. I would also highly suggest checking their website for coupon codes, it saved me quite a bit on the battery. Apart from that, they offer bulb and battery recycling, which is super convenient, and they carry many hard-to-find batteries as well. I'll definitely be back!
