I am writing to formally express my concern and disappointment regarding the treatment I have received at your office on two separate occasions. As someone who takes pride in respecting rules and schedules, I was deeply troubled by the discriminatory behavior I experienced from a staff member, whom I have identified in the attached photo. On both visits—during weekend hours—I arrived slightly before the official closing time. However, I found that the office had already been closed nearly 30 to 40 minutes earlier. I was denied entry while I witnessed other individuals, specifically white or Black, being allowed in. As a Hispanic customer, I felt unfairly singled out and discriminated against. The staff member in question behaved with arrogance and disrespect, showing clear bias and a lack of professionalism. It is very disappointing to see such behavior in a place that promotes itself as being number one in customer service. I work full-time during the week, and I make every effort to arrive on time during the limited weekend hours. To be turned away unfairly despite arriving before closing is both frustrating and unacceptable. I believe every customer deserves to be treated with respect and equality, regardless of their background. I urge you to look into this matter seriously and take appropriate action to ensure that such incidents do not continue to occur.

CubeSmart in Flatbush has been a lifesaver for me. I constantly lose my storage lock key (it’s basically a talent at this point), and most places will charge you or make you hire a locksmith to get it off. Not here — Ms. Cathy and the team were super understanding and helpful. They cut the lock for free, no drama, and I just paid $21 for a new one. Ms. Cathy also helped coordinate the free box truck to move my stuff in — huge help! That alone saved me a lot of money and stress. Only downside is there’s no electricity or lights inside the units, so bring a flashlight if you’re digging through things after dark. Other than that, 10/10. Great service, clean facility, and real people who care. Big thanks to Ms. Cathy and the crew!

Ms. Debbie was very helpful, responsive, and professional. She explained everything clearly and made the process smooth and stress-free. I felt supported from start to finish, and any questions I had were answered quickly. I highly recommend their service for anyone needing reliable storage solutions.

Do not rent storage here. They raise prices at least 2-3 a year. There is a rat infestation that their insurance does not cover. I had to throw out expensive furniture. No food or any attractions were in my unit, just basic housing necessities. For all the money you pay…a storage facility has one job– to protect your items and they can’t do that nor take financial accountability for when something like this occurs.

Not a clean storage at all, if you can find someplace better do so. That right there is all rat poop me and my girlfriend had to clean. Who thought, one had to clean a freaking storage room before using it. Make it make sense.

Debbie was absolutely amazing with helping find the perfect locker for my needs. I haven’t put anything in yet lol but I will This week. Rates accommodating & I love that that specific location has been around for centuries

Wonderful experience! I booked everything online and it was very straight forward. When I showed up, Kathy gave me a tour and explained everything clearly. She was very helpful and kind. On move out day I had to wait for my truck so I was sitting for a while and Debbie (working the front desk) kept checking on me and made sure the lights stayed on in the building. Above and beyond! They have a great team at this location. 10/10 service
