We were visiting from Vermont, interested in checking out ebikes (IRL), and happily found this store. We had such a great experience! Scott was friendly, down-to-earth, answered all our questions, and had a nice safe spot in the city to test drive. We ended up buying two ebikes and accessories. A great spot for all things electric scooter and bike. With the ever evolving and increasing popularity of electric scooters, you would think there would be many places to get your scooter repaired, serviced or upgraded. I learned the hard way this is not so, and finding a place like Electric Scooter is truly the exception. They handled my battery swap with professionalism and expediency. Scott and the team truly went above and beyond to help me get the bike of my dreams. They didn’t have the model I wanted in stock, but Scott special-ordered it for me, assembled it with care, and made sure everything—from the brakes to the finishing touches—was working perfectly. I also want to give a big shout-out to James, who’s an exceptional mechanic. His attention to detail and professionalism really stood out. What sets this shop apart is how honest, welcoming, and down-to-earth the entire team is. That’s why I came back with my cheap little fixie for a new tire and tube, and also grabbed an extra tube for my scooter. Unlike so many other bike/ebike shops in NYC—where you often get attitude unless you’re dropping thousands—these guys treat everyone with respect and courtesy, no matter your budget. Highly recommend.

I went in for a tune up of my ebike. The guys were very nice and explained clearly the services and pricing. I was a bit nervous because I've been to other shops where I felt I wasn't being taken seriously or worse, talked down to for having a "basic" bike and (maybe) being a woman. Well, not here. They were absolutely professional and welcoming, clear in their communication and with very fair prices. I will be back for sure!

Honest and knowledgeable. They fixed a hard-to-diagnose vibration with my Ride1Up Roadster v3. It's a great bike, but exclusively mail-order so I've had trouble finding a place to service it. One shop recommended I look elsewhere, another trued my wheels and said I'd need new parts. These guys found and fixed the issue. Charge was an hour of labor, no spare parts needed. Wish I took my bike here from the get go.

These guys are the BEST. I have brought my Lectric e-bike to be serviced multiple times, and each time they have diagnosed and serviced the issues quickly. They are extremely knowledgeable, and also have a professionalism some other shops lack. They give it to you straight and don't BS or upsell you. Will continue to be a customer here!

James and the team at Electric Sports Company are excellent. While I'd love to gatekeep this place, they deserve recognition for their quick turnaround on my Vanmoof S3. This was a much better experience than going to Midtown, especially since the Vanmoof service center in Williamsburg is gone. They gave my bike a tune-up for just $129, and it's running great again.
